Friend purchased another more stylish brand of these for me however it was a chlushion top. Those models overheat when using a laptop. I purchased this one and works great. It is not as comfortable as the other as this is a little more restrictive in where and how you can sit, but not during up is pretty important.

Decent enough product but, there should be a something to keep your laptop or whatever your working on from sliding off. Quite annoying and upsets rather easily.

I got this lap desk for when I used my iPad in bed or standing. It comes in 3 pieces. Very easy to install. Just snap on the pieces.The lap desk feels very sturdy with its engineered wood table and hard side pieces. The engineered wood is much better than foam tables I have used. The side pockets are a nice feature too. Too bad my table top had a cracked in it probably due to a back side screw. Overall, it's better lap desk.

Bought this to encourage myself to be better at time management for my masters assignment deadlines. Sometimes I don’t want to sit in my office and study because it seems like a chore. This works perfect for the couch, while I study and take mini-distraction breaks. Plus my dogs can sleep beside me on the couch while I work (let’s be honest, this is the real reason) instead of in their beds in the office.This one was particularly my first choice because of the wooden surface vs the pillow surface of other lap desks. This allows for better laptop ventilation. Additionally, the top is easy to remove for consolidated storing of the product. Easy to put to together, takes about 10 seconds max. Also there are pockets in the side that can hold pens and your phone, and probably a Kindle if you wanted. 10/10 would recommend!
