The box appeared to be in good shape so I believed it was not a previous purchase, however when I opened it up it was missing instructions, parts list, and 2 critical bolts so I haven’t been able to install. I contacted AMP to get the bolts and have not heard from them in a week.

Installation is relatively easy with the proper tools. Works great and seems to be very well built. More expensive than others advertised but is probably worth the money due to it being a quality product.

My second bed step from AMP but for some reason this one came with the wrong sleeve nut and I can’t install. 4 contacts with them for a replacement and nothing. I have a $350 step I can’t install for a $3 part!

This step fit perfectly. All holes lined up with truck frame and did not require any drilling. Step looks great and functions perfectly. Much better than the step stool I had to carry in the bed to reach anything. Highly recommend this for a F250..
F350 Fan

I helped my dad to install this on a 2017 F350 dual rear wheel on the passenger side. I would recommend you watch an install on YouTube first it will help. I did have to drill one hole which was the hardest part of the install. Some of the bolts are hard to access but not impossible. We did shift the step to the rear to make it easier to access an in bed tool box but it is very solid. It took a little over an hour to install on the passenger side, the diver side will take longer. Overall it is definitely worth the effort as the step is a very useful accessory on these newer taller trucks.

So amp does what Ford can’t do. Yes Ford some of us need to get in the bed of the truck from the side when connecting goosenecks and fifth wheels. First, amp research instructions are terrible. The steps movement is great and tucked away when not needed. My only real complaint is I wish it would rise. No problem getting into the truck but getting down gets a little squirmy when I have one foot on the tire and the other searching to hells creation for that damn step.

This has been a lifesaver for me. I have a 2017 F350, and it's a pretty big truck. Reaching into the bed had been a pain, but now, it's easy. Even easier to reach my rack! I highly recommend this step as an essential upgrade for your truck!
