Bought this to replace deteriorating rear hatch switch on my 2015 Kia Forte5. Interestingly, Amazon does not believe this part fits, but it is the proper part.However, BOTH steel spring clamps immediately broke at the 180 bend at their top before I even tried to install it. They were clearly defective.Thankfully I was able to remove the old spring clips from the existing switch and reuse them. Otherwise this part would have been useless.

First off, the two metal tabs broke as soon as I tried to install it. When it was installed in the opening there was a lot of play. It was about 1/16" to 1/8" too small. There would've been a lot of rattling around. Got the same part from another seller for $19.99 and it fit perfectly.

So it worked and was the correct part for my car. However as soon as I went to insert it into my car the clips immediately broke. So now my car is sitting with a giant hole where my handle should be. Hopefully the clips work for the next person but good lord I can't tell you how frustrating this was.Edit: had another one delivered with a bracket broken. These brackets are ungodly brittle to the point where they seem to break if you blow on them.

The electronics worked, but it arrived with two metal clips for the right side and none that fit the left side. I was able to use the left side clip off of the old part to get the new part to sit right. The old clips were rusted and brittle though so this may not work for the next person.
