This rearview mirror is a huge upgrade from my old one, which was tiny and made it difficult to see behind me. This wide-angle mirror gives me a much broader view, which is particularly helpul when driving my truck. Installation was easy—it just clips right over my existing mirror. The flat design means it doesn't distort the image, so everything looks normal, just… wider. I can see more of the road, other cars, and even the blind spots that I always worry about. It's made parallel parking a breeze, and lane changes are a lot safer now. It's also great for backing up; I can see so much more. I feel much more confident driving now 😎; I would definitly recommend this product.

I hate blind spots in a rearview mirror... but I also don't care much for curved mirrors that make everything look farther away than it is. This mirror is an improvement on the view while still keeping objects in a 1:1 correspondence with visual distance-normalcy.The clips were straightforward to put on my '01 Accord. I've had that car for awhile, and in that time my ability to swivel my head around to check the sides of the car has diminished with my arthritic neck's range of motion. So I've been looking for something like this.It doesn't dramatically increase the field of view, but it does increase it somewhat, and somewhat can give you a glimpse of something you really need to see. The loss of a few square inches of forward visibility isn't an issue for me.The mirror itself seems pretty perfect, no distortions; and clear enough that it caused me to think briefly about why people get face-lift surgery.I also like the clip-on mechanism as I'll be getting a newer used car this year, and will be able to simply move the mirror to the new one.At the $10 price point as of this review, I'd recommend this for people whose cars have side-windows positioned such that a bit more lateral view would allow one to see through them a bit.It does what it says.

Wow, a wider view of the traffic in back of me! What could go wrong? Well...first, this mirror is FLAT, not curved, so it's not truly "panoramic." However, I gave it one star for being perfectly flat, with no distortions. So, unless you expected a "75mm wide-screen movie" sort of view, it's just wider than your factory original, that's all. About a foot wide.But, as I quickly discovered while fumbling to attach this to my original mirror with my wife in the car, there's a feeling of danger that you're going to snap the original mirror off of the windshield. With that fear rising quickly, she begged me to stop trying to hold both mirrors firmly with my shaking hands (I suffer from essential tremor). It's would be tricky for most people, especially the elderly, to expand the two spring-loaded clips around the OE mirror, while BOTH hands are busy trying to grip one mirror each.So, I held the mirror up in position in front of the OE mirror, instead of attaching it. What I discovered was that my head and head rest, and my wife's head and head rest, blocked most of the wider side views! Also, the thick rear pillars of my Hyundai 4-door blocked the REST of the wider view! WHICH IS WHY MY HYUNDAI ELANTRA CAME FROM THE FACTORY WITH EXTERNAL SIDE-VIEW MIRRORS! My, my. It seems like the factory put in the correct mirror sizes in the right places, after all!Another couple of other negatives: The OE mirror can be tilted downward to reduce headlight glare from cars in back of me at night. No option to do that with this wide mirror. I'd end up ripping it off in night traffic, I'm sure. And, as another review said, the wide mirror can bump and get into the way of the flip-down sun shades.My summary: A seemingly good idea, that doesn't really work. I was disappointed. I'd recommend saving your money on this, to buy a back-up video camera on Amazon to get a truly unblocked "panoramic view" from the clear, no-obstacle vantage point of your rear window!

I got this to use in my 2013 Honda CRV. It snapped on super easily and feels secure. It's still easy to adjust my mirror as I'm driving for the best angle.The extender definitely allows for a better/wider view behind my car. The natural blind spots of the car where the back walls are still exist, but the extender is an improvement.One minor issue is that now my visor bumps into the edge of the mirror when I put it down which can shift the angle of the mirror. But overall I still think the added view is beneficial!

This is a pretty cool inexpensive item. You just attach it to your current rear view mirror and voilà! It came packaged nicely, no cracks or breaks and it’s definitely bigger than your average mirror. With this I can see the entire back of the car but I cannot give it a full five stars because I believe these were made to help see your blind spots and I can barely see them through this mirror but it is nice to use regardless. It’s under $15 and would make a good gift for experienced drivers or new drivers. I would still recommend!

This mirror has 2 clips on the top and 2 on the bottom. 2 of the clips are springloaded so that you can attach the mirror to your existing rearview mirror, and I found this was easy to do. I got the convex version and found that I can see behind me as well as into my blind spot on the right side, it definitely lets me see more of what's going on around me when I'm driving.
