For an iPad mini, you would think this holds well, but no matter how much I tightened it, it kept sagging. The build quality seems legit when in hand, but the elbow mechanism is its weak spot.

This rearview mirror tablet holder is a sturdy and well-designed solution for keeping devices within easy reach. The metal long arm feels solid and rotates 360°, allowing for precise positioning at any angle. It folds neatly when not in use, keeping it out of the way when not needed.Installation is straightforward, but it does take some time to get it positioned just right. Once secured, it attaches firmly to the rearview mirror with minimal wobbling, and the anti-slip padding ensures that devices stay in place, even on bumpy roads. The adjustable clamp accommodates both phones and tablets (6–15.6 inches), and thicker cases fit without issue, eliminating the hassle of removing protective covers.Beyond vehicle use, this holder is also great for mounting on poles or stands. Mounted on a wheeled light stand, it works perfectly for video monitoring, feedback, or minor teleprompting, making it a handy addition for a small video studio setup.CAUTION: If the rearview mirror is windshield-mounted, extra stress from the holder could cause it to detach at the wrong moment, potentially leading to an accident. It’s something to consider before installing.Overall, this solid, multi-use tablet holder works well in cars, studios, or other creative setups. A great buy for those who need a flexible, heavy-duty mount for their devices!

This has got to be one of the best ads to our camping gear. This tablet holder has so many different adjustments that makes it convenient and very versatile for mounting anywhere. I have mounted it inside our rooftop tent and on our lamp pole. What is really cool is that this one knob loosen completely everything and tighten everything up so you adjust it to where you want it and tighten it up with one knob. This is well built and very sturdy and once it is set in place it has not moved on me. Definitely worth having.

The Rearview Mirror Tablet Holder is very convenient. The metal long arm feels sturdy and well-constructed. The 360° rotation and folding design make it very versatile, I can adjust it to any angle or position I need. This tablet holder was easy to install, it securely attaches to the back of the rearview mirror without causing any damage or very little wobbling. The adjustable clamp fits well and doesn’t interfere with the mirror’s functionality. The tablet holder is a little bit bulky, but it folds neatly when not in use. I like the fact that I can hold not only tablets but also phones. Also I like that it has anti-slip padding to keep my devices securely in place.

The arms are metal, along with all of the connections. The C clamp is well made and everything tightens with ease while holding my iPad mini in place.

I thought this might be a little unstable as long as it is, but when tightened up it is very solid. The actual rod is also metal so very ridged. I like the fact that once you get it in the position you want, a single knob tightens the entire arm in place. The tablet holder has a separate tensener to adjust it.

This rearview mirror tablet holder is like having your co-pilot mounted right where you need it. For $37, it's a surprisingly solid buy—literally, the metal arm feels sturdy enough to survive an apocalypse (or at least a few potholes). The 360° rotation is a game-changer, letting you adjust your device to the perfect angle without fumbling mid-drive. Plus, it folds up neatly when not in use, so it doesn’t scream “gadget hoarder” when you park. The biggest win? It fits thick cases! No more peeling off that Otterbox to make your tablet fit. Whether you're navigating, binge-watching, or bribing your passengers with cartoons, this thing handles it all for devices 6-15.6''.The one downside? Installing it takes a minute (or ten). If you’re not mechanically inclined, expect some trial and error. But once it’s on, you’re golden. Four stars because setup could be smoother, but otherwise, it’s a road trip hero!
