I have only used them twice and the kit seems solid. The weight is nice, but I am not expert enough to know if it is appropriate.

They have no weight to them and the string is only tucked so you will have to melt the tips to get them to stay wrapped. Very sharp tip no sharpness to the actual blade which is typical with throwing knives. The balance is decent but not great for traditional throwing. Best to throw with no spin (not saying it can't be done just more successful thrown straight) being such a light material it's definitely not what I would define as durable. Dropping it on a rock or any solid object will cause damage. They are also small compared to a typical kuni. Not by much but it's more than likely to get more money out of their material. These are worth $20 at most and that's giving them a little credit because I was able to learn them but it was a major adjustment.

This throwing set is great for getting started with the basics of throwing knives. The balance of the kunai is surprisingly decent for its price range, and the included cord-wrapped handles offer a secure grip for practice. The paper target adds a nice touch, providing a clear aim point for beginners or casual users.The nylon carrying case is practical and keeps everything organized for storage or transport. However, the material quality of the knives feels average at best. While the 440 stainless steel construction holds up fine for casual practice, the blades could dull quickly with repeated use on harder surfaces.If you're looking for a budget-friendly set to try your hand at throwing or for light recreational use, this is a solid choice. For serious practice or professional use, investing in a higher-quality set might be worth considering.

The craftsmanship of these knives is exceptional. They are very sharp and of high quality. These are definitely some of the best knives I've used for throwing

I clearly didn't read the description well enough, as it's states, "with paper target." I was expecting something akin to a dart board. I didn't deduct anything from the rating for that, but thought I'd mention as I'd assume others may make the same mistake.Only reason I'm taking off a star is that a couple of the knife edges immediately deformed. I was throwing at the target mounted on a pine board (fairly soft wood).The knives with the deformed edges still work... just disappointing.

The pics looked like it came with a nice target. However, it's just a piece of paper. I should have read the description better.
