Works at 4k 60Hz, which is as high as my 65 inch TV can do. My RTX 4070 Super card has one HDMI 2.1 and 3 DisplayPort 1.4 outputs, so I need an adapter if I have two HDMI monitor inputs. This works for that. This adapter theoretically supports the card's maximum 8k at 60Hz outputs with 48gbps HDMI cables in case I ever upgrade the display. It would be nice to see warranty spelled correctly in two places rather than once on the box. I'm not sure what a year of technical support gets you with a two year warranty. If it stops working in the second year, you'd probably be talking to technical support anyways. I don't usually expect a mainland Chinese warranty from an unknown (yet they claim to have experience) brand to be serious, but if it fails I'll be sure to update this review.

What a beautiful adapter!! The cable and connections are top notch quality. This was the only connector that I found on AMZN to do what I needed and it is perfect! No more monitor connected to the laptop - now back in the docking station! Love it! Do not hesitate to purchase this connector.

I like the design and the fact that cable has that fabrics wrapping. But, the adapter didn't do what it was supposed to. When I used it with my desktop PC, which has Dport output, the picture on screen was very "snowy" and "broken". As I already used other adapters in the past with the same configuration, I can tell with a 99% confidence that it is adapter's fault. Thus, I can't recommend it.

This adapter boasts a high-quality braided cable, with just enough flexibility to bend and reach ports comfortably.Though the adapter works as intended, sadly with this adapter you are stuck with the DisplayPort 1.4 specification. For this reason, this is a tad expensive.Overall though, this is worth consideration for anyone needing such an adapter and content with DP 1.4.

This displayport to HDMI adapter does exactly what it’s supposed to. The setup was pretty much as easy as it gets: plug it in, and it works. When testing it, I specifically used it with my Steam Deck dock and connected it to the displayport input on my monitor. Again, it just worked exactly as it was supposed to.Beyond simple functionality, one of the things I appreciate most is how compact and lightweight it is - fitting easily in my Steam Deck case (or a pocket if you were so inclined to put it there). That is to say that it's easy to toss into a bag or keep in a small desk drawer without taking up much space. Despite its small size, it feels well-built, with seemingly quality materials. As for picture quality, it was able to output at least at the quality of my monitor (which was 4k). I believe it is advertised at 8k, but I couldn't specifically test that.

I had a very expensive and ultimately unreliable gaming monitor that went unrepairably bad after just a few years. (Heed my warning: Never buy an Acer monitor.) Until I could replace it I had to use an old 720p thing but it's only connection is HDMI. My GPU has several spare Displayport ports but only one HDMI, which is in use. So, I ordered this Reborn Adapter. It works perfectly. It's got a good heft and sturdy design which give an impression of reliability. I really like the thick braided cable between the two connectors which allows some flexibility and ease of access in my setup. It's more expensive than others I've seen but overall, I think it's a good quality, solidly built adapter, ideal for its purpose.

I got this DP to HDMI adapter for my older PCs that just have DP 1.2 output. I like the compactness of it and not needing a separate USB power cord as other active converters require. It works well with all of my PCs (Windows and Linux), outputting 4K at 60 Hz flawlessly. It uses the full HDMI RGB range (0-255), not limited as some others I've tried. This is a true active adapter, confirmed by PC thinking it's connected via DP, so this adapter is doing the conversion. It's self-powered from DP port, so no separate USB power required. DP and HDMI connectors look to be good quality. DP connector is non-locking (no button to press to remove it). The only minor ease-of-use issue I encountered was having to use a custom modeline/resolution to get 4K 60 Hz, as only 30 Hz and lower showed up the options. This might be a TV/PC issue because every other active adapter is the same way for me. This is a good value for connecting an HDMI display to a DP output, no matter how old.

This DisplayPort to HDMI adapter actually works quite well. I have a mini PC that has one DisplayPort and one HDMI port. With this adapter I can use my mini PC with two monitors. The build quality of this adapter is quite good with braided wire and metal housing. The flexibility of the wire makes plugging in the HDMI cable very easy for me. There is nothing special here, it just works!

Build quality is good, with aluminum connectors on each end and a braided cable so you don't stress your GPU DisplayPort connection. The adapter simply passes through the DisplayPort output to a compatible HDMI 2.1 monitor with full high refresh rates up to 4K @144Hz, 1440p, and 1080p @ 165Hz. Premium priced, however, a recommended buy as the adapter delivers on what it is spec'd for.

This is a decent DP 1.4 (male) to HDMI 2.1 (female) adapter/cable that seems to be well-constructed and for the most part works as expected without issues. It has the typical aluminum alloy capped connectors that most others have nowadays so there isn't anything fancy here. Unfortunately, it's only rated for 32.4 Gbps (25.92 Gbps effective) so it can NOT really support 8 K@60Hz natively without additional technologies such as DSC and/or chroma subsampling (see below).Keep in mind that this adapter, like nearly all others of similar design and style, is NOT bi-directional; it only works FROM (computers) DP to HDMI (display/monitors) and not the other way around. So how does this work? Well, it's completely plug'n'play and requires no software to be installed similar to just about all others like it. I have no issues with a 27" MSI monitor at 4K@120Hz with standard video (25.82 Gbps). As aforementioned, since this is only rated at 32.4 Gbps with 25.92 Gbps effective bandwidth, it can NOT support 8K@60Hz for standard or HDR video without either DSC (Display Stream Compression) or chroma subsampling. For reference, 4K@144Hz standard video requires 31.35 Gbps and 4K@120Hz HDR video requires 32.27 Gbps. 8K@60Hz standard video requires 49.65 Gbps and 8K@60Hz HDR video requires 51.47 Gbps. As you can easily see, none of these is possible without DCS and/or chroma subsampling. 4K@144Hz standard/HDR video is supported via either DCS or 4:2:2 and 8K@60Hz standard video is supported with either DSC or 4:2:0 but 8K@60Hz HDR video is only supported with DSC.Btw, I have several adapters like this but without the cable and I do find those with a short cable (such as this) easier to work with especially in tight spaces.≡ ValueAll things considered, this is a decent DP 1.4 (male) to HDMI 2.1 (female) adapter (with a short cable) that seems well-constructed and for the most part works as expected without issues; however, 8K@60Hz isn't really supported natively by this adapter and additional technologies are required despite the fact that most systems/configurations that support HDMI 2.0 should support those features. It's somewhat reasonably priced at $26 for what it provides and its overall build quality, features, versatility, and performance.
