I have owned a few of these head lamps from so called top manufacturers and this one is the best I have found. It’s very easy to adjust the beam when it’s on your head, it has so many different brightness levels and the brightest can be used for heavy duty in the dark work or night recreation. Only draw back for me is the batteries that it comes with have a very short charge life. Lights start to dim after about 60 plus minutes of continuous use on low beam. Obviously that means even less time on high beam. I just replaced the batteries and now I could use it all day without needing to recharge.

Al principio dude de la Luz que da. Hasta que me hablaron y me dijeron que necesitaba estar completamente oscuro para su función y si funciona mejor así. La batería dura muy poco. Si lo necesitas para una tarea rápida te servirá muy bien.

This headlamp was awesome! It is extremely welluilt and quality for the price. The fact you can recharge it is excellent as well! I took this fishing and the multiple light options are way better than my Coast from Lowes or my Quantum I had from HF. The brightness was comparable if not brighter. The high beam options is what I have pics of and they were extremely bright for seeing directly in front of me as well as at least a 100 yards. The low light option I really liked because it doesn't shine directly out in a beam, it's more like ambient light that is great for fishing, as well as the red light.Luckily I had read reviews before purchasing it to know how to get to the low light settings. You have to hold the button down approximately 3 seconds to cycle through the low settings. You can't get to them by just pushing the button because you will only cycle through the high settings. The one con I will say is that it is not quite as comfortable and fitted on my head as the other brands and the battery pack is way larger and heavier than my other brands. This does not take away from the overall operation and design and feel of this unit. The battery lasted at least 4 hours cycling through the settings and at least 1 hour out of the four was on high beam. I didn't necessarily test it to the limit because I was going to need it multiple nights fishing so I just recharged it each night. There is a red light to let you know it's charging and it will turn green after it is charged. I definitely recommend!

I purchased this to keep in the barn/workshop on my farm. What I was looking for:- Dedicated rechargeable batteries- Several choices of light intensity type and direction- An intuitive method of operation with reliable controls- A comfortable and adjustable fitBatteries: My previous headlamp had corroded out when the off AA batteries lost their seal. I wanted to try a rechargeable setup this time so I wouldn't have to inventory the right size of batteries where I will keep this. There are broad temperature variations in the metal building depending on the season and I've found off the shelf batteries don't always hold up well in those conditions. I tend to use the light more in fall/winter when daylight is lacking and it may sit unused for weeks at a time during the summer. Will the rechargeable ones be a better choice? Time will tell. I rated Battery life as 3/5 stars for this reason- I will just assume average for now but will adjust if I find them to be much better or much worse.- light intensity / direction - At times I'm hiking outside and want a fairly straight and bright light and this provides that on the high setting. But more often I just need supplemental light outside at dusk or inside in the windowless barn. I'm almost 60 and if I can touch something with my hands I'm going to be looking through reading glasses to see it. The hinge that allows the angle of the light to move from straight ahead to almost straight down is firm enough to hold the light it the right position, and the low intensity settings work well for reading a manual in average light of tightening screws in shadows. I've never used a red light to preserve night vision so I can't offer anything on that setting other than it appears to be the right intensity to read a map in near total darkness.- intuitive method of operation with reliable controls:The "manual" had the smallest print I think I've ever seen and would have been difficult to read had I not left it at home when i first installed the batteries and experimented with the light. I winged it and figured out how to adjust the high beam via clicking through and then how to get into the low beam mode (holding button down) and clicking through those settings. Easy enough. The control button has a good feel to it- on a previous light the button was too easy to activate and it would click on sometimes when it wasn't supposed to, leaving me finding dead batteries when i went to use it. It appears to be water tight as well although I have not and will likely never test that.-comfortable and adjustable fit:The angle of the light is adjustable per earlier in the review. As far as the fit of the strap etc - the straps and buckles seem solid- sturdier than others I have owned. The only issue is a have a large head, an unusually large head. With the straps opened up as much as possible it is still a little snug. An other half inch or so would be all I need to have a perfect fit. As it stands I'm not sure if I will get a "skull-crusher" headache from the tightness of the strap or not. Probably not as I don't know that I'll be wearing this continuously for long periods of time, but this sort of thing has given me issues before. If it loosens up a bit with wear it will be perfect.Overall: first impressions are very good and I would recommend.
