The neck light works well, and the control buttons are well positioned and very easy to use. The brightness and light tone settings are excellent.However, the thing is quite stiff and heavy to wear around my neck. It doesn't have the flexibility I hoped for. It's good if you're reclined, like, reading in bed with your book propped up. But sitting up ... well, if you have an ample bosom, the lights illuminate only the tops of your boobs (tmi, I know). So the light is useless for doing things like sewing or reading a book on your lap. You have to hold up whatever you're working on. This is the first reading light I've ever used, so maybe they're all like this; I don't know.The charging cord is plenty long, which is very helpful. It takes about 3 hours to fully charge. The instructions make clear that you must never let the thing fully discharge. If you do, you can't recharge it; it simply becomes unusable and time to buy another one. So I guess it should be considered disposable. But there's no indicator as to the charge level. This caused me anxiety even before I used the thing. Just keep it plugged in, I guess.I will use it until it no longer works. But when that time comes, I won't buy another, and I can't recommend this product.

While I’m not using all of the features, the ones I am using are working well for doing needlework in dimly lit areas. Not at all heavy on my neck. Fully adjustable to target light where needed. Easily charged after a day or two of use.

This is the best money I have spent on products to read with. I can turn off all the lights in the house so noone else is bothered and read to my hearts content. The neck light has 3 options for soft blue or intense light and those have 3 different levels of light so it is great when we go on trips and are in a hotel and my husband wants to sleep. Would buy fir anyone I know.

I do a lot of crafts (think Joanns or Hobby Lobby) and I was cross stitching and straining to get my standard yellow light lamp to provide light over my work... I initially though "man, I need a headlamp" but came across a light for reading and eventually this item. I'm so glad I purchased it. I look like an alien coming at you in the dark if i forget to turn it off--it has got some power! but you can adjust the brightness and the luminosity of the light and the bendiness of it makes it so handy. It also folds together for easy storage. happy to have purchased and found this item!

Overall this is a great product. The light is bright it's comfortable and it's cute because of all the different color options. Long battery life and gets the job done! Definitely a good purchase for all the late night readers / crocheters etc
