8L Recirculating Water Bath from IVYX Scientific
This 8 Liters (2 Gallons) versatile, simple to use laboratory water bath is able to quickly and precisely keep samples and experiments at the correct temperature, from room temperature to 100°C in 0.1°C increments. The built in timer allows continuous operation for up to 24 hours.
An internal pump continuously recirculates the water, ensuring a uniform, precise temperature of +/- 0.3°C of the set temperature
Water from the vessel flows through a small hole at the bottom of the water bath, where it is pumped internally around and up to the side of the vessel. This continuous mixing of water ensures a uniform, precise temperature throughout the water bath.
NOTE: To protect the internal pumping mechanism and tubing against extreme heating, the pump automatically shuts off when the temperature reaches 85°C, stopping the water cycling.
Large 8L Capacity
The large internal chamber has a volume of 8 Liters (2 Gallons), with dimensions of 11x8.5x5.5 in.
Simple controls with a 24hr timer
Set the desired temperature and time with simple, easy to use controls. A backlit LCD screen clearly displays the current temperature, time, and pump operation.
Stainless Steel Body
The exterior is constructed of stainless steel. The inner water vessel is made of tough polypropylene, while the heating plate is made of an aluminium alloy with Teflon coating.
Transparent Removable Cover
The top removable cover features a transparent window, so you can check on your experiments without compromising the insulation and inside temperature.

Not sure where the water was coming from, but when placed in circulation mode, water poured out of bottom of bath.

I received a machine that was very obviously already opened and returned by someone else. The inside and outside has scratches and marks. The plate covering the water circulation system was bent out and the mounting for that was damaged as well. The lid didn't fit securely so after some water builds up from condensation the water leaks out the sides of the lid. For all the great reviews of this item I was very disappointed on the quality and condition. I didn't give 1 star because the item arrived promptly and the packaging was still of a good quality.

Es ist äußerst ärgerlich, dass der teure Artikel, den ich über Amazon erworben habe, bereits nach weniger als 4,5 Wochen anfängt zu rosten, obwohl er ordnungsgemäß nach jedem Gebrauch gesäubert wurde und das Wasser abgelassen wurde. Desweiteren ist der Mindestfüllstand für Wasser so hoch, das die Reagenzgläser umfallen. Besonders frustrierend ist dabei die Tatsache, dass nach nur 4 Wochen die Möglichkeit, das Wasserbad zurückzugeben oder umzutauschen, erlischt.Leider erweist sich der Verkäufer, der Teil von Amazon ist, als äußerst unkooperativ und hat bisher nicht einmal auf meine Anfragen reagiert. Diese Erfahrung steht im krassen Gegensatz zu dem, was man von einem renommierten Online-Marktplatz wie Amazon erwarten würde.Es ist bedauerlich, dass ein so kostspieliger Artikel nicht nur den Erwartungen nicht gerecht wird, sondern auch der Kundenservice mangelhaft ist. Ich hoffe, dass der Verkäufer sich in absehbarer Zeit meldet und eine Lösung für dieses Problem findet.

As far as I can tell, this product works wonderfully. However, I'm not using it for it's intended purpose. I'm using it as a heated circulator for an ecoworks solution (alkaline, pH ~9.8) to dissolve support material off of 3D prints. It works wonderfully! Definitely a step up from my previous cheap sous vide rig I had set up (I also use a fume extractor and HEPA / carbon filter with it). The ABS doesn't warp and the SR-30 material dissolves in the expected time. I believe the teflon coating is resistant to the chemicals used based on material safety data sheets. I will update if I notice a difference.

I recently bought this item and made sure it works, so I will provide an update on longevity and quality at a later date. However, so far it works well, seems like a solid build, simple to use, and it took less than 20 minutes to heat water from room temperature to 60 degrees Celsius, 140 degrees Fahrenheit. I'm pleased.

This is a great deal for a lab bath, but don't get it if you need very fast circulation or heat-up. It takes quite a while - upwards of an hour - to get to 80C from RT. The pump also shuts off above 85C (per manual) to protect its internal components. However, it seems well-constructed and durable, so it's a perfect fit for many applications.

We purchased this for a small, simple lab. There is plenty of room for samples and the best feature is the circulating water that stays at the correct temperature for hours.
