Crafted from high-quality ABS composite, it resists weathering, fading, chipping, cracking, and breaking, extending the lifespan of your door and latch. Plus, with no moving parts, it outlasts traditional mechanical versions by reducing the risk of breakdowns over time.

*Contact your vehicle's manufacturer to make sure you have the right depth of mounting hardware*

**Manufacturer recommends placing a bead of seal around catch during installation to seal any holes in the exterior of the vehicle**

Let me tell you about the door magnets I bought for my 5th wheel baggage doors. Spoiler alert: they’re about as effective as using two north poles of a magnet to hold together a sandwich. The package came with a set of two, and I thought, "Great! Simple enough, right?" Oh, how naive I was. The magnets repel each other. Yes, you heard that correctly—these magnets refuse to do their one and only job: stick together. Instead, they push each other away like middle schoolers at their first dance. At first, I thought, "Maybe they’re just stuck this way from packaging." Nope. That would have been too easy. None of them would attract the way you’d expect. They only “work” if you flip them over so the backside—the part that’s supposed to be flush against the trailer—is the side that connects. Genius, right? It’s like they were designed by someone who’s never seen a magnet before.I have to ask: who thought this was a good idea? Did someone at the factory say, “Let’s assemble these so the magnetic magic happens on the wrong side! Customers will love the challenge of figuring this out!” Or was it just blind incompetence? Either way, bravo. I’d give you a standing ovation if my hands weren’t busy trying to keep my trailer doors shut because your magnets are about as useful as a screen door on a submarine.Save yourself the frustration. If you’re in the market for magnets that actually stick to each other, look elsewhere. Or better yet, just go buy some duct tape. It’s cheaper, and at least it works.

Good idea, badly executed. The keeper plates are punched and the holes are so badly off centre as to be laughable, and the punch burr is on the cosmetic side so they look rubbish too. They are painted not plated so they'll age badly. I think you'd have to work hard to make them look worse. The magnet holders are hard plastic, not rubber as would have made more sense, and rather badly thought out. They look a proper state as no thought has been paid to shrinkage.I'm only using them for a shed door so they won't be visible, but if I bought them for a vehicle or similar, I'd send them back.

I bought these for my camper screen door. They are made heavier duty than the originals they replaced, which I had to replace once before. Their magnets are also stronger than the originals. They should last a long time.

Easy to instill and great value for the money. Magnets were used to secure outside doors on our 5th wheel.

for small to medium size doors on a RV they work just fine.

So much easier than those stupid clips that keep breaking on our RV. We replaced the clips on our older RV with these. We use them on the door as well instead of the long hang Thing. We just swing open the door and it stays or open the basement doors on the RV and they stay up. Can be worked for just one hand. Strong magnets. Highly recommend
