Mostly as advertised. I feel like the depth range for a perfect burn is much narrower than for black-over-silver laser patches from other Amazon shops. Back to back burns with the same settings produced varying results. (Using a 45w Full Spectrum P-Series CO2 laser for reference.)

We purchased these patches to make hats. The patches were true to size and laser engraved nicely. They worked perfect and adhesion on the back made them easy to place and held great after being pressed. Worked so well we had to order more. Great value for the price and true to size and color.

These engrave so well. Using my LP 4 I use the 450 laser at 20% power, 15% depth @1k.Easy peasy. I use a small but powerful vacuum after to remove the dust. I would buy these again and recommend. For those using the press- just understand all you’re doing is molding the patch to the hat- it’s not a heat activated adhesive. I was able to pull a design I didn’t like right off 24 hours later. You will need to add a heat based adhesive if you want a permanent fix. Use a double sided tape to keep the edges down while engraving.

Very please with how well these patches work. I did try sublimation, and that was a big fail. But HTV works great! And the adhesive on the back of the patches stick really well to the hats! I had my hat press set at 285 degrees for 30 seconds!

I have purchased many of these in all different colors, styles, & sizes. And cannot say enough good about them, I wholeheartedly prefer these to other competitors on here.

These are the best patches I have found this far for making hats! I have tried almost all of the colors and once you figure out the laser settings for each color they burn great. I do adjust the power slightly based on color as I've found some colors require a little bit more power to burn through than others (ie white).After the laser process is complete I use 3" painters tape to remove the soot. Some colors require more pieces of tape than others to remove (3 rounds of painters tape typically does the trick). Some patch colors may require spot cleaning with the painters tape to get ride of the soot (ie brown/gold).I set my hat press to 285 and apply for ~50-60s. I place a piece of butcher paper between the patch and the my heat press. No issues with the patches holding.Only one negative is that the border stitching on some of the patches are not consistent in quality (ie crooked, not consistent distance from edge of patch all the way around) That said I use those for finding the right settings on my laser. Also where 2 stiches come together I place on the bottom of the patch so it is less visibly noticeable.I wish there were more colors like orange and green!

We have tried a couple different brands of patches and these are the best we have found. They work great for laser engraving and the adhesive is especially the best part. These patches actually stick to the hat and don’t melt when applying. I have already ordered more for hat orders.

I have a xTool D10, set at 60/30/1. Turns out beautifully and adheres great! Product is just as described. Husband has been wearing his test hat at work as a mechanic and no issues at all! Ordering more today
