This was not exactly what I was looking for and it s hard to use. Unfortunately, I don’t think they make what I used to use as I could not find it anywhere. It was rather expensive and I have since found the same thing at half of what I paid for this. I have opened and used some already otherwise I would have returned it.

Gives a nice shimmer to my projects. Because it has a foil ribbon running through it, it tends to curl up easily. But just pay attention while you're working and you won't have any problems.

Nice thread, it does twist when crocheting with it. Just let it unwind and you're good for bit. My project turned out beautifully.

This thread is basic size 10 crochet cotton with a silver thread wrapped around it. I have tried to take pictures and the silver just doesn't show up very well. It is very pretty though. I was going to use it for Christmas tree snowflakes but I decided to go with the metallic pearl instead. One thing of note that would likely be a little annoying on a large project - the silver thread causes the yarn to get twisted as you use it. When working on snowflakes I periodically just hold up the ball of yarn and let the snowflake spin until all the kinks are worked out. This wouldn't work so well if you were making an article of clothing or something like that.

Very beautiful thread but extremely fiddly to work with. The thread itself is not metalic- it is simple white thread with a thin metallic tape wound around it. These two keep coming apart making it hard to work.Furthermore this thread keeps winding around itself and getting stuck. So you have to unwind it constantly. I still give it four stars because it is very pretty and when you *finally* finish something ( this thread will slow you down) the result is lovely.
