The only negative thing about this kit is the black and white leads are not enough to get the job done mounting the controller under the dash - you will have to splice them to get them into the cab. They stress how IMPORTANT it is to get a good ground but the white lead will only get to the frame. I ran it all the way to a new 4 fuse panel mounted in the cab with a negative buss so that all power and grounds had the exact same connection point. I fed the 40 amp fuse to the trailer connector and a 20 amp fuse to the controller.

I installed on a 2011 Toyota sienna. It worked fine and had good quality wire and plenty of (good) zip ties. I may have been able to save $1 by buying piecemeal, but this has everything in one kit. Plenty of length to run the cables through the various nooks and crannies of the interior.

Made installation super simplistic. Still working well after installing brake controllers over two years ago now. Plenty of extra wiring in case you need to put your controller in your backseat or suck at dealing with anything electrical like I do.

I needed a way to wire my brake controller in my 2013 Highlander. This kit was exactly what I was looking for. Although it is tough to find places to run the wire, this kit has everything I needed to add the wires to my 7 wire plug to my battery and brake controller. Do note that this kit does not supply the 4 flat wire required for the lights on a trailer. This kit is only designed to add brake functionality.
