This was a cheap and easy repair for a mini-refrigerator that gave up after about two years. It is the item that starts the compressor when cooling is called for. Not complicated, just plugs in. Symptoms?---fridge just made a little buzzing sound every now and then but did not cool. Have to wonder how many refrigerators have gone to the landfill for want of this little part.

this was easy to replace, simply unplugged the old one from the compressor.re-installed the new one and remove one wire at a time from the old one to the newone to the exact terminal location. worked great.

My Danby mini fridge quit working overnight sadly. I did my research, and decided to order this PTC switch. It installed just like the original and the fridge is working again!

The current was to high to start the compressor so I ordered directly from Danby and working perfectly again. Just make sure you check the full current level that is the last part of the model.
