It seems flimsy at first but works well and is light and thin for easy shoe horning !With time and if durability , I would purchase again !Only time will tell but so far so good !The wood ones I purchased in the past did not fair well and broke at the bottom and were to thick !A suggestion to the manufacturer ! They could make this one 3-4 inches longer for taller people !

I got this for use after shoulder surgery and it was a great help. It's well made and sturdy. And I like the red color. :)

Work with no problems but wished it was longer and had a hanging hook. My problem as I should have realized the length.

It may be just cheap plastic, but so far it didn't break or bend out of shape like other products. I very happy with it and the price I paid for

Perfect length. Bought for a. Neighbor he finds it very useful. Makes it easy to put on shoes without bending over. Everyone needs one saves the heel of your shoes. Inexpensive. Quality gd. Very light weight. Recommend

Downward pressure makes this shoe horn bend and flex, making it take longer to align and slide into shoes. I only use one as I’m too lazy to untie/tie my shoes, so I’m looking for ease and speed. If you want more of a challenge and enjoy taking time to put on your shoes, this is for you. If you want quick and easy I’d suggest spending a little more and getting a stiffer less compliant shoe horn.

I was surprised how "plasticy" the shoehorn was. Some might find this to be a good feature; not me. I'm hoping it will be durable and stand the test of time.

This is a life saver I broke my back so I can’t bend down all the way and this makes putting shoes on so easy. I can’t live without it. Even my kids use it daily

The shoe horn is long enough to reach my shoe when sitting in a chair and is flexible enough to bend while slipping my shoes on. It replaces a poorly built metal one that gouges my foot and does not slid around the back of my foot. Love it!

This works well when putting on shoes while sitting in a chair. It avoids the necessity of bending over to work a shorter shoe horn.

This long shoehorn is built just right for its intended purpose- to help slip into shoes/sneakers without much, if any bending. It is comfortable to hold, works well, won't rust or splinter, is adequately long, feels sturdy for its purpose, and has a handy hole for hanging it up in the closet.I don't get all the negative comments about this plastic long handled shoehorn. It's perfectly utilitarian without any unnecessary embellishments. The part that does the actual shoe-horning, the 5" at the very end, is adequately stiff to get the job done. The shaft may be flexy but that's pretty much irrelevant because it just connects the handle to the 5" business end. It's job is to keep the back of the shoe up and let your heel slide into the shoe instead of crushing the back of the shoe and eventually turning it into a slipper... bam! 5-stars right there! It's a shoehorn for goodness' sake- not a demolition tool nor a coffee table conversation piece. Let's be realistic, it doesn't need to be made out of 16 gauge hardened steel or Brazilian tigerwood with gold inlays. If that's what you're looking for, then expect to pay 20 or 30-fold, cuz this ain't your huckleberry. For under $4, this does the job, got delivered in 2 days for free, and should last an eternity when used as directed. My only other comment is that this slender, 19.5" shoehorn came in a humongous 30" x 7" x 6" carton along with enough paper stuffing to choke a horse... so much for Amazon's initiative to minimize packaging! A 20" cardboard tube without any stuffing would have been perfectly adequate and, I imagine, would have saved Amazon a good portion of its shipping cost.
