First the quality of this is fantastic! I have had many back support systems over the years, and this one is a great value for the money and works very well. I have soft tissue back problems as well as moderate sciatica, and I can tell you this has helped a great deal over the last two days of wearing it for 3-4 hours each day! It is breathable, comfortable, and expands with my breathing without any discomfort. I decided to order a size larger after reading a previous review, and I would absolutely recommend doing the same. This is a very impressive support system and can be used for far more than the advertised usages. I would give it 10 stars if I could, so I HIGHLY RECOMMEND IT!

Hello there, nice to meet you! ;o)Long story short:As a veteran of major abdominal surgery last year, I can vouch for this abdominal compression wrap/binder! Needless to say, my hubby also endured surgery himself... and this support helps him too.So when I saw this breathable version of this compression binder, for both my hubby and I to wear when we needed support, and for my workouts as well-- of course I ordered it on the spot! ;o)Well, what you know? Literally, as I write this review, my daughter came home from her abdominal surgery today-- and her doctor recommended a compression wrap/binder to help her with the pain and promote healing. Talk about serendipity! The binder is adjustable and fits her well, despite me ordering the larger size! I'm so glad I could help her out in her time of need, and with a terrific compression binder to boot!Here's the details you want to know:The binder is incredibly well made, with stays (support) that are sturdy enough, yet flexible for you to be comfortable. Even the weave of the binder material is unique to this manufacturer/seller-- I could see right away this binder is more comfortable than what I've endured in the past.This binder has two parts, utilizing a velcro (hook and loop) system that is so helpful. First, you wrap the larger part of this waist binder to wrap around snugly against the body. Next, it is easy to adjust and customize the fit, using the two partial 'belt' parts/flaps to wrap around from either side of the back to the front, adhering to the larger outer wrap portion beautifully-- and tightly if you wish. Hopefully I'm making sense here? Forgive me if my wording isn't quite right. ;o)This binder has a great design that works, let me tell you. So much better than the binder they put on me at the hospital! Best of all, this binder 'breathes' very, very well!You can wear this compression wrap against your skin, or over a t-shirt, comfortably. Lastly, this binder is washable, a good thing! Reian Abdominal Binder for Men is a solid support product, but not without its flaws. I used it mainly for abdominal compression and occasional back support, particularly when I experienced a lower back strain. It provided decent stability and made movement easier, especially when my lower back was acting up. The material feels sturdy, and the compression is firm without being overly restrictive. However, I did notice that after wearing it for a while, it started to feel a bit uncomfortable due to heat buildup. The breathability isn't the best, which made prolonged use somewhat frustrating.I found the price of $26.99 slightly high, but reasonable given the level of support it provides. Compared to cheaper alternatives, this binder has a more durable construction and offers better compression. I didn’t feel like I was wasting money, as it seems like it will hold up over time. However, for those on a budget, it might seem a bit pricey, especially considering that it lacks any special cooling features to mitigate the heat issue.One unexpected benefit was using it for lower back support. I originally got it for abdominal compression, but I realized that it also helped when I had a mild case of lower back pain. While it doesn’t offer the rigid support of a dedicated back brace, it does provide a slight stabilizing effect that made moving around a bit easier. That said, I wouldn’t rely on it for heavy lifting or as a primary back support device—it’s just a nice extra use case.There are a few downsides that are hard to ignore. As mentioned, the breathability is lacking, which makes it uncomfortable to wear for long periods. Additionally, while it’s adjustable, the fit isn’t perfect for all body types. I found that it sometimes shifted slightly when moving, which required occasional readjustment. It’s not a dealbreaker, but for a product meant to provide stability, a more secure fit would have been ideal.Overall, I’d rate this product 4 out of 5 stars. It does what it promises—provides firm abdominal support—but has some room for improvement. This compression support belt was on me and working within 2 minutes of opening the package! As someone with one of "those" backs, I have the big, bulky, back support belt, in fact two of them, Rx from the orthopedist, very expensive list price, and those are fine -- but you do feel a bit like you're wearing a suit of armor. I mean, those things have pulley systems in 'em! And forget sitting down with one on. This Reian compression wrap immediately provided a great feeling of support all through my core and spine, is so comfortable, and so easy to throw into my gig bag to take along with me. (Excuse the white spots on my "action" photo -- my camera caught dirt on my mirror that was invisible to the naked eye, haha!) There are 3 nice semi-rigid stabilizers in the back of the belt, very helpful for spine and back issues. It's very intuitive, completely adjustable, and easy to use -- which means you'll actually USE it! Looks darn good on, too. At the current price of $26.99, I think an excellent value for a quality item. 😀RECOMMENDED!😀
