This seemed like an extra step to a nice clean installation but the breakers are like brand new in a dusty garage. Very happy with this cover. A little pricey but it’s protecting a very expensive switch. I would highly recommend this”dust” cover since it worked on a wayward splash of motorcycle cleaner.

One of the two rivets was detached.. The rivet is swaged, but not holding the cover to the hinge plate. The hinge plate is also bent at the clearance holeThe plexiglass is a thin gauge and fairly flimsy.

The cover works great for my reliance 10ckt switch box. My home has the cb box outside and I was worried how to protect it from the rain. The unit came cracked on the top left corner. Guess damaged during shipping. Super easy to install just remove four screws.

I used this to provide a finished look for my 31410CRK. I used recessed kit KF10 with this CK10 and it all fits like a glove. This clear plastic panel comes along with a thin metallic piece that holds the swing down plastic door in place when closed. If you look closely in the pictures, you can see that it is actually 2 pieces, a hinged door and the thin silver metallic plate. This plate needs to be mounted to the bottom of the 31410CRK... and trying to accomplish this after it is recessed in the wall is... well, difficult. As a TIP: This plate should be put on BEFORE sliding the 31410crk into it's recessed wall kit for easier attaching. My door came with a small scratch on it, but is functional - I've got a replacement coming which I will quickly switch out on receipt. The hinged door mounts easily on two existing screws on the 31410crk. When closed, the plastic sides sit inside the walls of the 31410CRK. I like it, I'm glad I bought it. Please check out my installation pictures to get a better idea of how it all goes together as a kit.

Easy installation (BTW, it fits inside not outside the box). Took less than ten minutes. The bottom plate was a little confusing (my fault)(the lip should point down and the hump should be on top. Quality is fine for what it is. Agree that the attaching screws were loose in the shipping box and could easily have been overlooked or lost. Overall, no regrets and recommend.

This is a thin piece of plastic designed to be a "door" to cover the generator transfer switch panel. Hard to figure out if it is supposed to go around or in between the edges of the switch, so I "chose" around (on the outside). The plastic is very clear (nice) but again, not very "thick". That being said, it does the job. (Keeps dust and dirt off the panel; little fingers from playing with switches). Since it isn't opened and closed with any regularity (only when using the generator) it suffices. Not a perfect fit, but again, it suffices for what it is intended to do.

The cover seemed ok, but it was too narrow to fit over the 31410 10-circuit switch and the screw holes didn't line up. I can't use it.

Have had this installed for about a year now. Of course we haven't had a power outage since I've installed it but I have tested it a few times to keep the gas fresh in the generator and it works as described/designed. Installation was a breeze (took me longer to run the conduit/cable to the outdoor receptacle/hook-up than it did to install the transfer switch) and it actually looks nice mounted next to the breaker box. The wattmeters really helped me in splitting the load as equally as possible. Was really glad I picked the 10 circuit model as opposed to the smaller ones as it gave me more options and with the exception of my A/C it can literally run my whole house (I have a gas water heater and stove/range so that helps a lot). Switching to the new CFL bulbs helps significantly as well. Full disclosure: I am a generator mechanic so installation was well within my capabilities, but seriously, installation should be easy for anyone with basic electrical tools and knowledge
