First and foremost, I didn't use this for its intended purpose so I have to give it five stars. It looks good, seems like it's well made, it doesn't seem like it's going to fall apart tomorrow.I had to heavily modify the hinges in order to make it work with my 1210 MK5. You could see I had to cut them down by about a quarter inch so that the cover was lowered to the surface of the turntable. I could only use two screws instead of four because I'm using the original holes in the metal brackets on the turntable but luckily, they're just the right size that the screws that come with the reloop kit tap the hole so they stay in there nicely. If it were flimsy I wouldn't leave it on there but the way I have it done is not flimsy. If you care about it more than I do just take the bottom off of the turntable and use a threaded Nut and Bolt. Easily just attached from the inside and torqued down.Hopefully, this gives someone else an idea of how to go about doing this but it now fits perfectly, works perfectly, and looks great.

ReLoop RP7000 MK2 turntable cover fits perfectly; obviously made for it. Takes just a few minutes to insert the brackets on back of cover into ready-made bracket receptacles on back of RP7000 and screw them in with provided screws. Now... $70 is a ridiculous price to pay for a turntable cover, but after all, we're talking about a very elite turntable here, and I want it to last past me (!), so I just rolled my eyes and ordered it. Comes from Germany; took about 2-3 weeks, but went DHL, and like other shippers, they provide a tracking program so you can follow it over by watching a teensy freight plane on a globe. NO!! You can't do that, but at least you do have an idea when it's going to arrive. So, all in all, I'm very pleased, albeit a little poorer.

It's a great dustcover for the Reloop RP7000 MKII turntable. Kinda wish it just came with it but most DJs wouldn't use it unless it was in between gigs. Comes with all the required mounting screws and was well insulted and packed well. You would really have to throw the box and crush it on purpose for it to break (it is possible, so don't just start throwing the box around). The only problem which is why it's a 4 star review is because of its use while you're actually listening to records. While this can be a controversial topic, for those that listen with the dust cover on and down to reduce dust build up, you may have issues with the cover. It could be because of the design of the cover or the turntable itself... depending on which perspective you look at it. Toward the end of the play, the tonearm position along with the counterweight can hit the sides of the dust cover. This could be because the angle of the cover hits the counterweight if its set less than 4.25 g; no matter what tonearm high setting its at. Not a problem if you have a cartridge that supports this high level of tracking force, but could be for most standard cartridges if you want the cover down. The other way to look at it would be that the right side of the turntable body doesn't have that much more space for the cover to rest on so there's just limited real estate there. The problem could probably be solved if the cover didn't come in at an angle (was perpendicular to the base) and slightly higher to allow for the tonearm adjustment. But other than that, it's sturdy and keeps the dust out, hopefully allowing you to preserve this nice turntable for years to come.

The Reloop cover is easy to install and fits perfectly. The cover opens and closes with little effort. It stays open and does not close until moved to do so. There is a slight spring movement in the hinges that helps opening and closing. I gave it three stars for value for the money. For some reason turntable covers are too expensive for what they are made of. It is plastic with metal hinges. Why the high cost?I also gave it four stars for thickness. For the price I would expect the plastic to be as thick as the competition. But all in all it is a necessary purchase for protecting your Reloop turntable.

This has a 4 screw holder in the back and mine is a 2 screw holder. The part that screws into the back of the record player. Any suggestions? Can I exchange that part?? Looks great.

I have a pair of Technics 1210MK2's, in black. These fit perfectly. They are not clear like the original covers, they are darker (smokey tinted), but still look very nice. You will have to remove the plastic brackets that are holding your current covers from the back of the turntable, and install the new ones that come with this cover. When you do this, I suggest that you place your turntable on it's side so that the brackets you have to remove and replace are on the top. If you try to do this with the turntable sitting like normal, the metal plate where you mount the cover bracket to will slide down in it's holder, and you will not be able to install the new plastic brackets. You will need a #1 cross-tip (Phillips) screwdriver for this. After removing the Technics cover mounting brackets from your turntable, install the Reloop cover mounting brackets. The Technics brackets have 2 holes to mount on the back of the turntable, and the Reloops have 4. Do not worry about this. Simply use the top two holes of the Reloop brackets. Once you have the screws in, do not tighten all the way. Install the pair of brackets that hold the cover, then install the cover. Once this is done, adjust the brackets on the back of the turntable until the cover sits flush, then tighten the screws until snug. Be careful not to over tighten. It takes less than 10 mins for each turntable, even if you aren't mechanically inclined. There are no instructions included, so just refer back to this if you're not sure what to do. After complete, step back and enjoy the new look of your turntables. Hope you will be as pleased as I was!If you look on e-bay, sometimes you will find the original cover going for hundreds of dollars. Do not let yourself be ripped off. Purchase these. You'll save money, and have a brand new cover, not a used cover with scratches. There's also another brand that would fit, and that's the Decksaver version. The Decksaver's are butt ugly in my opinion. The Reloops are much nicer looking.
