Heavy duty, wells made, nice sleek design and magnetic lid, brilliant! I will be testing the young 8 week flock on this soon, if it works as well as the nipple dripper water jug, that would be awesome!

quality built and functionalLove the magnetic lip closure . Just make sure you install at proper heigth as chickens cannot nagifate ducking heads low.

This works great, it keeps the feed completely dry no matter how crazy our storms get, and it’s size means I can fill it every 3-4 days for my 8 chickens and eliminates a daily chore. I have mine sitting against the wall of my little brooder coop, inside the run/outside in the full elements. No leaks and it has never fallen over.

We've been using these feeders for about a month now and they work great. I put them on cinder blocks inside my chicken run against the wall of the coop. The chickens adjusted very easily to eating out of them and they hold a great amount of food which hasn't gotten wet when it was rainy and windy. I don't think they quite hold 25lbs of food since the 50lb bag didn't fit in them both but they don't tip over and they don't spill the food.

I finally had to write a review on this thing. A couple plastic feeders kept having the chickens dump their food on the ground, because apparently they're little jerks. They'd just dip their beaks in the food and flip it into the run as entertainment.This thing holds 25 lbs of food.. that's like half of an entire bag from the feed store. Awesome.They eat from the bottom, so you don't have a stale food problem. It just slowly feeds downwards.The stupid chickens sit on top and poop. I should probably build something to stop them, but at least the lid is metal, and easy to clean. Since it's sealed and tough thick metal, I don't really care that they're pooping on top, it doesn't impact sanitation.Unlike plastic feeders, I have no concern that this thing will break just because I bang it with my shovel when I'm messing around in the area.Great feeder!

I had bought those cheap things that you put in a container but the chickens would spill so much food. Those are easy and cheap and work but they spill more feed than they eat but thenWe got this wonderful waterproof feeding machine. First the chickens can eat 3 at a time and everyone is happy. I also think it would slow them down from becoming fatties . Also , almost no wasted feed.If you are on the fence the price is worth it. I got the 25 lb size because I like to mix vitamins in mine and wormer once a month and it makes it easier. I have 21 chickens ( for now 🤪).Best chicken gadget I bought.

New coop and run for 16 chickens. We could not be more pleased with this feeder. It spills no food, keeps the feed totally dry during heavy rains, has enough room for 4 chickens at a time. They seem not to mind waiting “for their turn”. They do love to stand three strong on top of the feeder, but do it no harm. We would certainly buy one again if need be, but it seems durable enough to last through many chicken generations. Keep making them, with NO changes, ever!Dave Sifferd, Florida

Pros: It works exactly as advertised. Weatherproof, large storage capacity, easy to use, my chickens have taken to it just fine.Cons: Arrived with bottom corner bent inward (i was able to bend it back out and it works just fine). For the price, the metal could be a bit thicker to resist denting and bending (which seems to be a common problem). The bottom is a tray style which limits options for setting the feeder on top of a surface and leaves sheet metal (almost sharpe) edges) along the bottom. I think it would be a good idea to role those edges and add support in the center of the bottom .
