Good 20 amp hour 13.2 V lithium iron phosphate battery. It recharged well with a bench charger and was able to supply voltage at the rated output. It also comes with 3x 40 amp fuses and a socket.

I couldn't tell you if this is actually 20AH. It is however a lightweight and compact battery. It has the screw-terminal connections, which I like better than the "tab" style common on small batteries. So far, it seems to work great!

Numbers are numbers, except when companies and sellers turn it into something more or less suggestive in their quest of one-upmanship. This is NOT the case here, however. Load tested at a constant current of 8 amps with a 11.2 volt cutoff (which equates to 5% capacity remaining), this did 19.3 amps, equating to 20.3 amps of total capacity. This is an excellent showing, especially in a day and age in which blatant exaggerations are commonplace. As for the battery technology itself, lithium iron phosphate is the newer alternative to heavier “old tech” sealed lead acid (SLA) or absorbed glass mat (AGM) – and for the most part, can be directly swapped with one another. Similar dimensions, similar voltage specs, lighter weight, longer life, and nowadays, minimal price difference. One application in which LiFePo4 is usually NOT a direct replacement are uninterruptible power supplies (UPS) and other applications of high amperage draw. The reason is that lead acid batteries are able to sustain a much higher output than their battery rating (at the expense of run time) whereas LiFePO4 cannot. Per the image calling out the BMS, this one is not designed to sustain more than 20 amps of current draw – 20 amps at 12 volts is 240 watts. If the UPS is under 200 watts, this could pull it off, but unless it was designed for them, I wouldn’t count on LiFePO4 for UPS applications.Barring any reliability issues, 5 stars.

The Replacement Battery Compatible with Fisher Price Power Wheels 12 Volt Battery,12V 20Ah Lifepo4 Lithium Ion Rechargeable Battery for Power Wheels Ride-On Vehicles is a great replacement for a standard lead acid battery. Many of the batteries I'm replacing in my 12v devices are being replaced with lighter, longer lasting lithium ones. The built in BMS means it can be charged with the standard charger of the device without issue.

The battery charges and discharges properly, and the adapter connects securely. However, the 12AWG wire and lugs are too small for a 40A discharge and fuse rating. These budget LIFEPOs often fail after a few uses, so I’ll give it an average rating until it lasts at least a dozen uses. Generally, these larger LIFEPO4 batteries outperform the OEM battery, keeping children entertained longer, provided they don't cause fires due to undersized wires and oversized fuses.
