This is NOT a blade. Blades, by definition, are sharp. The "cutting" edges on this thing are thicker and duller than butter knives. It's hard to imagine it cuts anything. What a piece of crap.

This is exactly what we needed to resolve the suddenly loud grinding noise in our hand-me-down nutribullet! When our blender bit the dust a few years ago, our neighbor gave us their nutribullet that had been retired to the back of their cabinet. It served us well for a few years of smoothies and pasta sauces until one day when it started making an absolutely deafening blending sound. It was so loud that we couldn't even continue conversation while it was running. "Cover your ears, we're blending!" My partner saw that a little piece in the blade had come loose. We thought we might just have to buy an entirely new blender, until we found this! It fit right into the blender and now we're back to regular blending volume. So pleased to be able to just update something we already owned instead of trashing the entire item!
