During cleaning and storage I lost the valve and piece in the inside. This product was exactly the replacement part I needed. Honestly it works better than the first one. Easy pop in and go. Comes with 2 and plenty of silicone pieces for the inside for a just in case type of moment. I was able to get to cooking and am super happy with my purchase.

The fit is perfect and has extra silicon tips (mine were damaged which is why I bought this). The height for the 8 quart is shorter than the original. It still works perfect so keep that in mind when buying.

I had purchased a replacement Instant Pot which arrived with an incorrect float valve.Everytime I tried to use it I got a "burn" notice even though nothing was stuck to the cooking pot. I did write the seller (not on Amazon), and they sent me some instructions on how to use the pot and valve. Since I had the valve from my old pot and knew what I really needed, I ordered this float valve with additional bottom seals, which sometimes dry up. Great fit, works as described. Used the pot with new valve, works great! Very happy with product, delivery and quality!
