this igniter appears to be more robust than previous ones from other manufactures. it has thicker wires and are attached to the igniter better. time will tell how long it lasts.

So far this has been better than the last 2 after market units I purchased. Those lasted about a year each and quit. This one seemed better quality out of the package as far as wiring and connections. It seems to light hotter and stronger than the other ones also. I don't think it has failed to light even with some ash built up covering the opening. I have been using it about 5 months total and will update again after 1 year.

Igniter is as described and fits our pellet stove perfectly. Unit was installed and the stove fired up right away. In fact the stove seems to be firing up much quicker than before! Great product for the price.

Installing the product was easy. It obviously worked as the Pellet Stove fired off in minutes.
