This was good for the price. Fit my shark perfectly. Only thing is that the material isn't as well made as the original shark one that comes with vacuum. But at same time. Good quality

Read in previous reviews that the coupling were either too tight at the handle or too loose at the base. I found that it worked perfectly at both ends and even CLICKED like the oem version. The hose is thinner and clearer than the original. Clearer is good as you can see if something is stuck in the hose. Hose is a bit shorter than original and though it recoils properly now, I can see it stretching out of shape in the future. The suction control works great. Overall, excellent replacement for the price. Color match is shockingly good.

Perfect replacement part for my Shark NV501. As the original owner of the vacuum cleaner, discovered the original hose had a developed a small tear, extremely easy to replace and swap out the hoses and added extra life to my favorite vacuum cleaner.

Ordered this as it’s a lot cheaper than a new vacuum. My husband switched out the part and the vacuum is working just fine again.

I couldn't understand why my vacuum wasn't picking up like it used to. Finally, I inspected the hose and realized there was about a 1 1/2" break that I didn't notice. I immediately went to Amazon with model number of my hose and found just what I needed. Very easy to install. My vacuum now works like new. Now I don't need to buy a different one yet.

I have a nv500w, and the hose cracked. I bought this replacement and it seems nice. The fit is perfect. It clipped in easily and securely. The new hose is clear, the old was either gray, or just that old... The old hose was a lot stiffer, but that's probably age related and why it finally split. The new stuff is working just fine, time will tell the real durability, but I don't see any obvious problems. Installation seriously took less than 5 minutes and no tools. That being said, the old hose's lower quick connect took a little wiggle and jiggle to come out. The new one did not need anything other than a slight push to clip in. Overall, it's way cheaper to buy this and give an expensive vacuum more life than to go buy a new one!
