Not sur if its cause by this lens protector but there's reflection bouncing between the actual lens and the glass lens protector that cause reflection issue it the image. I dont remember seen that with the original one.

works like it should - I have not noticed any difference in image quality, but it is worth noting that this is nicer than my OEM lens covers and has a significant amount of metal in the lens frame which I appreciate

My gopro hero 6 had a cracked lens but I never replaced it because it didn't really show up in footage.But now with a perfect and super snug fit just like the original, it gives me a little peace of mind knowing it's clean and uncracked glass on there!Excellent product and value, 5 stars!
