It will not fit my application. Shaft diameter to small. I would like to return it. Amazon took it back without any problems.

I was very pleased with the bench test of this particular motor. It responds well to voltage regulator control circuitry; spinning up smoothly from low RPM, to full RPM with no vibration or excess noise. I am a an electronics engineer and fabricator and look for motors like this to work into my designs. If you need a small, high-torque motor for purposes other than its' intended design (broadcast spreaders), then I highly recommend this one.

I ordered the AMBITIONMOTOR ATV All-Purpose Broadcast Spreader Motor to replace the failed spreader motor on our old AG-Supply Tractor ATV spreader. Installation was a snap pretty much plug and play. The new motor is made out of heavy duty materials, it spins like a top giving new life to an old spreader that almost went in the scrap metal pile. AMBITIONMOTOR ATV All-Purpose Broadcast Spreader Motors are available in many sizes, I measured ours, compared it to the drawings on the Amazon Website and picked the correct version for our spreader. There is no doubt, given the quality of this motor, that it will last for many seasons to come.

The quality of it appears good. the end caps are aluminum and i could see being an issue with a salt spreader but that's not the application i'm going to be using it for. the build quality is slid it weighs a good bit not sure about the innards but i will tear it down later and check the coils out and post some pics.
