Much thicker than the OEM Napoleon baffle and different material but it looks and feels solid and fits in my woodstove. I haven't used the stove yet this season but will give a 5 star for packaging, look, feel and fit and quick delivery.

The original Napoleon baffles in my s9 stove lasted years. These replacement baffles seemed like a bargain and worked great for a few months, until they started cracking, and they kept on cracking. After less than one full burning season, they are literally falling apart and need to be replaced. Each baffle is constructed of two pieces that are somehow attached horizontally. One piece (the top) is a flat 1" board and the other piece (the bottom) has the raised "vortex" ridge on it. Over time (months) the adhesive or whatever they use has failed, which causes the cracked ridge piece to simply fall off. This might be a good product for someone who only uses their stove on occasion, but if you burn 24/7 this product is no bargain, even if it costs a third of the OEM baffles. Bite the bullet and get the Napoleon baffles.

While cleaning my wood stove before the new season I discovered, after five years of use, the Vortex baffles were due for immediate replacement but, after seeing the pricing of the replacements, I took a chance with the Lynn items, which fit quite well &, during our first week, my wife & I have put them to the high heat test as we burn to the max to start off in order to heat up the fire bricks &, for now, they seem to be holding up well; I will follow up if, during the peak of the wood burning season in mid-January, there are any changes; otherwise, this is an adequate & relatively economical choice, perhaps as good or even better than the Vortex items; time will tell. [Follow-up: Here we are in mid-January at the peak of our wood-burning season & all is well with these new items; they are holding up extremely well & I'll be staying with Lynn for future replacements.]

As advertised, very easy to install, much thicker than original. First set purchased in 2018. Second set purchased in 2020. After burning approximately 8 cords of wood reflecting two seasons of use, the replacement tiles burned through. Would purchase again as have not seen any alternate replacement options and life was reasonable considering very heavy usage. For my next wood stove I will consider one that uses conventional fire brick rather than custom as required with this Timberwolf (Napoleon)stove. I believe high cost of maintenance a reflection of the wood stove design rather than the replacement tile cost.
