This gauge is not the size has described. Do not order. It is .86 which was too large for my gauge holder. Nicely made, but not size advertised.

It's a glass rain gauge. It measures rain. Does what it's suppose to do.

A bit thicker glass than usual. Works in smakl corners and measures clearly and accurately.

This is a great product with one exception. The size indicated is slightly inaccurate. The diameter indicated was slightly different than what was described. This product barely fits into the holder that I needed a replacement tube for. Other than that the product is very sturdy, easily readable and has been very accurate measuring rainfall.

I bought this for my grandmother who's previous rain gauge shattered in a hail storm, so she had the stand with no gauge. When she got it home, she couldn't get the gauge in the stand, so I contacted the seller about returning it...they were very nice, helpful, and prompt with their response, but when i went to visit her i slid it in, no problem (ok, it needed a little maneuvering) and it fits just fine. I think the reason for that is the glass is thicker than the original, which is good because hopefully it won't break near as easily. definitely a worth-while purchase.
