I was expecting a box to show up at my door and not an envelope, so when I opened to see flattened filters I was wondering how this would work. After letting them soak and inflate they were perfect. Replaced my old, deteriorating sponge with the new and the filter is back to working great.

These filter elements come vacuum sealed flatter than a pancake (but thicker than a tortilla). However, they fluff up nicely once taken out of the package. I soaked them in warm water to help them along the way (and then notice that is what the sticker on the package says to do). They fit my CPF-2500 filter fine and they seem to work fine. Having an extra set of filters gives me a spare and a nice way to quickly get my pond system back in action while I clean the old filters. I have found these filters a little cheaper and they feel all the same but overall, these work great and its nice to have them on hand when it is too cold to stay outside playing in the pond water.
