I’ve purchased many of these kits and would recommend them If you have Older Gen 1 or pre units that have damage to shaft surfaces or temporary repairs. The double lip seal is a great idea because they sit on a fresh surface. The issue is inner bore size on all of them. Also with some applications where only a 1 directional seal is needed (upper yoke) and a double lip seal is installed That will burn up the seal as a whole as soon as the pre lube has worn off and being too tight to begin with it helps speed up that process.
