I have no way of testing these for efficacy, but they seem to work well when I've worn them. They fit well on my respirators.

These filters use activated carbon, and from what I can tell, that is it. No mention on other filtering materials, and no test data. I use this for nuisance VOCs but wouldn't trust my health to them for more serious things.. I want something with actual test data for that. But at any rate, for nuisance VOCs they work a treat! Completely removes the odor.

Excellent filters. I have been using the filters for years.

You can save a few bucks over name brand and get these as a refill. They function just like you'd expect. I went and sprayed some 2K acrylic urethane, and didn't smell a thing. No light-headedness or anything. They fit right on my mask as well.

I am giving my opinion on these filters as a home crafter, a DIY enthusiast, a 2+ acre lawn mowing fanatic, and a spray paint wizard. These fit on my respirator easily and remained in place despite me moving them on and off, up and down, and inside and outside on multiple occasions.I have no official measurement results but I did find them to be useful. I did not get the spray paint headache that can emerge when I am batching groups of crafts. I find the odor to be headache inducing rather than any euphoria and was pleased that I could work longer periods of time without having to stop, leave, take a break. I do have a spray tent, venting, a very large workroom, and still take pains to keep healthy safety options in place at all times. This made a noticeable difference.I detest the odor of gasoline in a lingering effect, on clothing, sloshed in a longstanding area, or emanating from a gas can. Again, headaches may rapidly manifest. When I use my respirator while dealing with gas it has been so helpful. If you need an affordable, multi-level filter, this may be the answer you are looking for. I find the price to be acceptable but I would like them to last a very long time. I use mine in spurts and when I do not get to use these, I am afraid I lose my value. But, to keep that from happening, I will just keep on working! This is not official advice, it is just what I have experienced over some time and different applications of this item. Plus, I like the colors and it looks cool when I wear it rather than my old, plain, standard masks from the past.

These look and function identical to the name-brand ones that came with my respirator.

They seem to perform well but I don't have equipment to test just how well they filter vapors. I'm a little weary using off brand budget filters but I thought I would give it a shot. They fit on my 3M half face respirator. One thing to keep in mind is that, like all vapor filters, they expire once you open the vacuum-sealed packaging, regardless of whether or not you’ve actually used them. It’s a little frustrating because it means you can’t store them for long periods if you're not going to use them right away, but that's just the nature of these types of filters.Despite that minor inconvenience, they seem to work just as well as any other filters I’ve used, and I’m happy with their performance. If you're ok with the off brand budget brand then I would say give them a try.

well, muriatic acid + bleach to produce chlorine gas ... you know, the stuff that eats your lungs.the cartridges locked onto a standard mask easily, so I mixed the stuff you aren't supposed to into some water in a bucket and didn't notice anything. Stood back and cracked the mask a bit and yup, chlorine gas was being generated.so, the organic vapor filtering works well for chlorine gas ... at least, if there's any vapor going thru it's not something I can smell and I don't have a gas chromatograph handy to analyze an air sample for anything toxic.no birds or squirrels fell out of nearby trees, so I'm calling these good.
