This retractable bow hoist works very well, and is really great quality for the price. It works smoothly and is nice and quiet, which is important. It offers approximately 29 feet of cord length, which is more than adequate. This is an essential item when hunting in a tree stand, but is also versatile. Thick, strong cord, strong and durable case. It gets the job done, and its very reasonably priced.

Whether it is hauling up a bow or rifle, having a hoist is an important safety item to have. This one releases the tether readily and is lightweight. I have used it only 4 times but so far it works well and seems well constructed.

Item was fairly small and compact and should be a great addition to my hunting gear.

This is a great gear hoist for those who like to be organized. It is very easy to understand and use. I would prefer a high-vis color like hunter orange, as black items tend to get lost when trying to get up in your stand early in the morning.

This bow hoist from the Tomaki Store is small, very light weight and packs a punch - as far as hoisting goes! The hoist has a belt clip on the back side and a small crank handle on the front side. It also has a carabiner attached to a generous 29.5-foot, high density rope for hoisting your bow set up into your tree stand. This little bow hoist takes all the awkwardness out of getting into the tree stand with my crossbow strapped to my back. I hook the carabiner to the crossbow and latch the belt clip on the hoist to my belt, then I climb up into the tree stand. The high-density rope easily pulls out of the hoist as I climb into the tree stand. Once I am situated in the tree stand, I pull up the high-density rope, lifting my crossbow into the stand. Once I have my crossbow secure in the stand, I detach the carabiner from the bow, take the hoist off my belt and turn the crank handle to return the rope into the hoist.

The clip is trash, the idea is nice. The winding arm isnincredibly small and useless with gloves. The clip is absolutely trash and not worth it. Could be so much better for an additional $0.10 production cost.
