This stir stick is built from sturdy plastic material. It does not allow any dried paint to flake off of it very easily which is a good thing when trying to keep things clean. It has a little hook on the side of it to prevent it from falling down into the paint can, and can easily be washed off when the project is complete to have for future use. There are nicely sized holes built into the stir stick to allow it to flow through and stir the paint with ease. A good product to upgrade to if you are painting often and just using regular wooden stir sticks.

This does the job, and maybe VERY SLIGHTLY better than the free wooden sticks you get with your paint. It stirs well and the holes seem to make a little difference. But the length is too short. It has a decent size handle but the stirring part will not reach the bottom of a full gallon paint can without dipping your fingers in the paint.It also bends if stirring vigorously. The 'hook' is a nice feature for hanging it inside the can between stirrings.My biggest gripe, aside from the short length, is the price. This is just a simple piece of plastic and should really come in a set of multiple sticks for this price.
