Can't complain. I do a lot of sheetrock mud tape texture and it works great. It's worth the money too breathe. This mask sucks up better on face then the other ones.

The Mask set is of typical quality to box stores, it also fits the same filters, the provided filters also protect against standard particulate and vapor hazards you'd typically come across. The adjustable head strap fits good and comfortably despite long time wear. Definetly recommend this set.

This respirator fits really nice, it's comfortable and easy to adjust and latch. It's nice that it comes with a set of cartridges but they are not 3M branded and thus I don't fully trust them, they work fine for dust though and light duty I think they would be safe. If you plan on using this for more serious protection though I would get some replacement filters from 3M just to be sure. The mask itself is well made and the outer pads are normal looking, so this is a good option that won't break the bank that you can get better filters for.

Great mask that is comparable to other mainstream brands. Actually, this seems better quality than other respirators I have owned. Easy to use and adjust, very comfortable, and filters the air well.

As I've gotten older, I've become more aware of the need to use a respirator to protect my lungs. I have a 3M half-face respirator that looks nearly identical to this one but wanted to have a spare that I could leave at my off-site workshop, so I ordered this one.Is this equivalent to the actual 3M version? Not quite, but for the money, this may be a good lower-cost alternative. For starters, the 3M version comes in different sizes to better fit different size/shape faces. This one is a one-size-fits-all approach. It actually fits me relatively well, but there is a little bit of gapping that allows some minor leakage (test this by holding the respirator to your face and sealing the two intake ports where the cartridges twist on (I use some masking tape to totally seal them). Inhale and you'll hear/feel whether air is leaking in along the sides where the silicone skirt seals to your face.That said, fit is a very personal thing and some folks may find that this seals very well, others may find that's not the case. What I really like about this respirator is the "latch" feature that allows you to loosen and tighten the head strap with the single flip of the front latch. It makes it so easy to get the mask on and off compared to the respirators without this feature. And what's funny is that the product listing doesn't even mention this capability.For the price, to have this set include the respirator, two fume cartridges, ten particulate pre-filters and the pre-filter retaining rings, this is a solid value. Would I use this in a hazardous situation working all day with dangerous fumes? Maybe not, but for the majority of DIY type applications, this is going to be way better than nothing and better (and more comfortable) than using typical disposable dust masks.

I needed a respirator to perform some light body and paint work at home. The respirator is easy to adjust and I was able to get it to seal to my face without too much difficulty. After the initial adjustment, I performed a standardized fit test to check the function and the mask passed with flying colors regardless of how the mask was tilted. I wanted to verify I would be protected from VOC, not just the dust.The current listed price is $16.99 a decent price for a respirator with 6001 filters. Having 5 pairs of cotton dust filters is a nice touch. It utilizes standard filters so it is easy to tailor to your filtration needs. I'm happy with the respirator!Protect your respirator! You can store it in a sealed tote or plastic bag when not in use to prolong the life of the filters and it keeps everything clean.My only wish is that the mask was available in a smaller size as it would be more comfortable for me to wear, I wear a small adult motorcycle helmet for reference. This size would be too large for my wife to wear.
