Rides pretty good for the price. Smoother than my adjustable damper $300 maxpeedingrod set.

Rear coil overs did not fit on rear lower control arm properly. Only the front ones went on as should. I give it a 2 stars. Wish I they fit as described.(96 Honda Civic Ex)

The coilovers are nice but it rides smooth until hitting bumps. Sounds like dead shocks lol. It’s good if you just want to lower the car.

I purchased these coilovers under the assumption that maybe spending a bit more money that I would get a more durable, higher quality product. Boy was I wrong..The installation wasn't terrible but the hardware that it came with was incorrect, fair enough, mistakes happen.I would be fine with these except for they lasted about 45 days or so before the first one blew out and about 15 days after, 2 more blew out.I don't drive aggressive and the car is kept in a garage and I stay in Texas, we don't salt the roads here so there wasn't corrosion either.I'll be working on it this evening to see what part failed

I wanted a coilover setup that wasn't going to break the bank and something that wasn't along the lines of Yonaka/Maxpeedingrods/other Amazon/eBay specials. I understand these Rev9 may be 'Amazon' specials, but after some research, you'll see why these are worth getting over the others. ;)Prior coilover experience I had is with Function Form and most recent being Yonaka for my 98' Acura Integra. These are more comparable to FF Type1 IMO, and light years ahead of Yonaka. I had Yonaka with a claimed 12K/6K spring rate and I'd still be bottoming out and rubbing at the front, and that's without an aggressive setup.Fast forward to these with 10K/8K rates with 16-way adjustable damping, absolutely awesome for daily! I have these at 10 clicks up front, 8 in the rear and I'd say they feel slightly more stiff over stock. I've only bottomed out on deep potholes that I've failed to avoid. I haven't tried turning them all the way up to 16 yet, but they handle the local street roads fine and rub slightly on backroads. If you're ordering these for 96-00 Civic, go ahead and go buy yourself some 3/8th ZINC/stainless washers for the rear LCA bolts. These were designed to fit 92-00 Civic/94-01 Integra first I believe, hence the need for washers in the back (rear coilover is wider than 96-00 Civic rear LCA except CTR).This is optional, but I went ahead and adjusted preload on mine all around. This is because my rear-pass side made a knocking sound after install, sound went away after adjusting preload. Plenty of videos on YouTube to show you how to do this.I think a step above this would be Progress CSII/GC-Koni combo, which would put you in the street/track capable tier. Overall, these Rev9 Hyper-Street One's ride great on the street and they're a great budget coilover setup. I do plan on tracking with these one day just to see how they perform, though I like them so much I may even get myself the Hyper-Street II instead.PS - These do not come with install instructions, but they're pretty straight forward and easy to install with basic tools.
