I sprung for the expensive metal one originally and hated it. This I swapped in easily and it is so much nicer! Holds more spins more easily

As advertised, I ordered the wrong size and sent back. They took care of me, and I ordered the correct size for my application The replacement was also of good quality and installed easily.

Nice quality replacement. Directions were user friendly. I watched a replacement video before purchasing and that helped. Instructions could be confusing without watching a video first.

I bought this unit to replace the 35 year old lazy susan in our kitchen cabinets. It was almost identical to the one it replaced. It took a bit of measuring and helped to have a level / plum line to make sure the post was perfectly vertical. Fortunately I have an app on my ipone that had both capabilities. It also helps to have an electric drill since there are a lot of self tapping wood screws that have to be used to put it together.

Took an hour to pack tools and three hours on site to install. That probably included time to shovel 3 inches of snow off a single wide driveway and walks. My daughter had removed the old unit and vacuumed the cabinet prior to my arrival. I washed the old cabinet first. The cabinet was home made and the templates were not usable. I was able to pick up center on the lower attachment from the old units hardware and screw holes. Tried the same on the top mount but there were many holes. (My daughter had removed the old unit prior to my arrival.) After initial install, I had to move the top bracket screws and move the bracket a few times to get the door to align with the frame. All and all, it aligned ok and worked as designed. We will see how it holds up. I will update this report in 25 years. If I'm not dead.

All the warnings about difficulties installing are valid unless you are replacing the exact same lazy susan brand and model. The instructions claim 15 minutes to install…not exactly! Like many purchasers I watched a lot of Youtube videos on installation which were helpful but unfortunately none were for this specific pie shape lazy susan by Rev-a-shelf. It astounds me in this day and age that they have not put together an installation video. I am very handy and do a lot of disaster recovery work around the country and can usually come up with a fix for most situations. After carefully marking and drilling the upper and lower mount holes using the template provided I installed the pivot brackets. I was careful to drill the mounting holes dead center of the template to give maximum adjustment. When I installed the trays and shaft assembly the trays rubbed badly on the back cabinet walls and the shaft could not be aligned straight up and down. The solution was to remove the shaft ,trays and upper pivot bracket, then reposition the upper bracket (in my case about ¼” towards the front of the cabinet and 5/8” to the right as viewed from the front of the cabinet. This provided free rotation of the trays. There were no helpful hints on installing the front cabinet doors to the trays. It’s virtually impossible to drill perpendicular pilot holes into the doors for screws because the holes in the tray lip that meets flush against the cabinet door do not give adequate access for a drill chuck. What ultimately worked best was to push the door tight into the right angle openings of the pie cutouts and get one screw started and secured through one of the inner tray to door screw holes. A shim at the base of the door helped keep the lower door edge above the cabinet door frame. With the door now partially secured, mark the other attachment 7 holes with a skinny permanent marker. Remove the one screw securing the tray to the door and then remove the cabinet door. With full access to the door predrill the marked holes ~1/2” with a 3/16” bit. Align the cabinet door back into the pie shaped cut out of the trays and reattach the tray at the same point used to partially secure the door . The other 7 predrilled hole should line up now with the tray screw holes and be reasonably easy to attach. The Rev-a-Shelf trays themselves were of lower quality then the lazy susan I replaced. The height locking mechanism on the trays consists of only a single screw unlike the previous unit that had a metal pin that went through the shaft providing tray support on both sides of the shaft. Only time will tell if the Rev-a-shelf hardware will stand the test of time.

Perfect, very easy to install if you had seen and used one before. Center the base first and then fix the top, done. The plan is too complicated.
