You can see through a peephole. Only see straight across the room of my apartment. Not worth it.

I use this in my job accessing abandoned properties. Many times the property is empty due to an eviction and we gain access and then guess what? Someone is still there. Hoped to use this to see in before I go in. Works on some and not on others. Still playing with it, it worked the first time I used it perfectly. Then went to another location and it didn't work at all. Possibly different peep holes have different designs?UPDATE: Figured out that the really fish eye peep holes 130 degree plus, for the most part make this unit fail. The small and flat peep lenses on doors are much easier to see through using this. It works about half the time, I've used it about 40-50 times now. It is helpful in my job accessing properties for banks... Houses that have been foreclosed and need new locks installed, water turned off, and garbage removed. A few times we have run into squatters even after knocking on the door and ringing the door bell for a long time. We open the door and there they are. So this is a nice item when it works.

This item states it is a unique Peephole Reverser viewing device was developed to assist law enforcement officers assess potential threats and view real-time activity behind a door when the door has a peephole. However, below is the answer I received from the company when the item came with no instructions and I was unable to see through any peephole."The peephole reverser only has a viewing range of approx 15 degrees while looking through the device. If you try and look outside of that range, up, down, left, or right your field of view will become blurred. This item uses two lenses to realign the opposing peephole lens and does require you to focus the device in order to get the best results. In addition to that you will not be able to see extremely far past the door as this is not a magnification device. This device does take some practice to become proficient at using and may not be suitable for your intended us."How can they advertise this item is for law enforcement officer who need to quickly look through the people to assess the situation behind the door. This product does not provide a clear, discreet view into the room through a door's peephole. I was barely able to see anything even after using the instructions above, which took so long adjusting it left me exposed in front of the door. I do not recommend this product for use, especially by law enforcement. The company is providing a refund, which is a good thing at least.
