How to Install A New Battery:
- You need to turn off your tablet and disconnect the power.
- Disconnect the connection between the old battery and the motherboard to avoid unnecessary damage caused by disassembling the battery. Then unscrew the old battery screws one by one and carefully save each screw.
- Remove the old battery, carefully install the new battery on the battery case, screw in the screw, and connect the wiring of the new battery.
- Please search for the relevant battery installation guide on YouTube before you replaced. For example, use "How to replace Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1 2014 SM-P600" to search.
Tablet Battery Instruction:
- Discharge the new battery use to 5%(not to 0%) and then charge to 95%, and cycle 3-4 times to activate the battery’s maximum capacity..
- Do not disassemble, crush or puncture. Do not dispose of in fire or water.
- If you remove battery for a long time, charge more than 80% at least one time within one months.
- Don't connect adapter for a long time while using the battery. It may damage the battery.

The battery did fit perfectly in my Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1 2014 edition. The supplied tools made it easy.For a couple of weeks the battery power discharge seemed normal. Now I charge the battery to 100% and a few days later it is at 40% Power. All without having used the tablet much at all, certainly not enough to warrant a 60% decrease in power. If this continues I will need to search for a new battery.

The replacement battery was as advertised. It came with everything required to replace the battery in my Galaxy Note 10.2 2014 edition...except instructions. That said, all you need to do is run a search for "how to replace Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1 2014 edition." I think it was one of the first videos. If you have steady hands or are handy in any way, then this is easy as pie. The videos explain step-by-step what you need to do. The only hard part you will encounter is figuring out how to pry the plastic molded case away from the screen. The videos don't explain what is happening while you are separating the screen from the case. So, it was hard to tell if I was doing it correctly or not. What would have been helpful to know was that there are "snaps" inside holding the case to the screen and all you need to do is get the snaps to release ALL the way around the tablet. Then the case can be gently pried away from the screen.The tools supplied in the replacement kit are not very durable and as i worked my way around the edges of the screen separating it from the case, the plastic tools bent somewhat and some bits of plastic came off. However, the tools lasted long enough to get the job done. I wouldn't recommend using the supplied metal screwdriver to separate the screen/case. You might chip or crack the screen. There were a couple of extra tools in the kit you won't need.I gave 3 stars on "easy to install" because of the lack of instructions and the tools' durability while separating the screen from the case. Overall, I gave 4 stars.I'll wait to see how the battery life fairs.

I had seen reviews for other Tanaka products that indicated they are made well and come with a warranty, so I opted for this more expensive battery in the hopes it would hold up. When I got it, it felt like a high quality battery on par with the OEM battery.Packaging:I forgot to grab a picture, but the battery came in a very durable, custom box. It was well protected and there was no chance of bending or damage during normal shipping.Fit:For the SM-P600 it fit very well. All of the tabs matched up exactly like the OEM. I had to be careful with the white tape around the edges to ensure it didn't get snagged when dropping in. However the battery was the perfect dimensions. No forcing or squeezing to make it work. The power connector wires were just slightly too long and had to be bent left and then right to create a curve to get them to lay flat and the connector to lock in place. You can see the mild curve in the picture.Battery life:I installed the battery two months ago. So far the battery life has been great with no changes to performance from when I installed it. It charges and runs just as the OEM battery did when it was new. I waited two months before reviewing with the assumption if there was going to be an issue it would have shown up by now. However if something does come up in the future, I will update this review to reflect the change.

Doesn't hold a charge as well as an OEM battery but worth it for the price. The plastic tools didn't work very well and ended up breaking off. Had to find other tools in the house to finish taking the casing off my tablet. I would purchase again but would invest in better tools.

This battery is stated as having the same capacity as OEM - 8220 maH - yet it weighs a full 23 grams less than the stock battery. I weighed them both on a precision scale. Stock battery is 141 grams and this one weighs 118There's no possibility that you can have that much difference between battery weight and have the same capacity.Given a "power density" of 8220 maH / 141g = 58 maH per gram that means this battery is only 118 x 58 = 6879 maH or 12% less capacity than advertised. Maybe not a big deal to some but this is how they make money - shaving off capacity by saving materials inside. When I emailed the vendor with my capacity concern the answer I got was "what you said is reasonable, but the data of our battery capacity is provided to us by the supplier. They are also very familiar with the battery, I think should not be wrong." So they stand behind what the supplier tells them.In addition the plastic holder around the battery is poorly molded and I had to trim in places to get it to sit in place of the original. It still bulges the back a bit in the USB charger port area.But in the end it does charge and appears to hold the charge. Time will tell on longevity and overall battery life.Update: 6 months after it failed to hold ANY charge whatsoever. I ended up getting another from a different vendor.

My Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1 had worked very well for us through the years. However, a few months ago the tablet stopped working. I like working on computers, gadgets and such and I figured that this couldn't be that difficult. Well, no matter what we tried, recharging over night, holding down power, swapping cables, doing all kinds of combinations found on the web, the tablet would not come back to life.After a little digging and finding this gem for a good price and decent reviews, we received the quality product and installed it with little to no fuss with the included tools (major plus). Lo and behold, our tablet is now living again. Though the power cable could be a millimeter or two shorter, the battery fit snugly into the housing.If you need a battery, I highly recommend ordering this one.
