Got the item and had to work to attach the poll to the base due to paint on the base screw threads. Once attach I got the item assembled. I tested it out and found that the fan did not spin. It turns out the anchor point for the fan assembly had broken from the plastic base for the fan. I was able to get the broken part back into place and mended it with tape and superglue. After working the fan blades to insure they were loose, I manage to get them to work properly.So far, it works like it advertised, but watch for possible defects.

Very happy with this light fan combo. The assembly was easy. It comes with a remote that requires triple A batteries or you can just use the buttons on the lamp pole. The fan action works well and it puts out a good amount of light. You have the option between regular white light and RGB colored lights. The fan speed is adjustable. It plugs in with a USB but comes with a brick. We plan to use this in our music room where my husband plays drums and can use both a light and a fan. the adjustable top of the light/fan works well and you can reposition it any way you want. If you make it straight to its full height it is about 6 feet tall. Only con was the plug for the USB is rather high so the cable hangs down rather than coming up through the base when you have it installed to full height. if you use it as a shorter fan/light and don't install the extender poles this isn't an issue.Because it is USB powered you could hook this to a power bank and take it wherever you want and use it for a while as a fan and or light. It can also be a backup emergency light in power outage if you keep power banks charged in case of emergency. I have a solar panel lantern that is also a USB power bank. I tested it and it worked well. In the video the fan seems slow, but this was an effect of the camera and it went full speed in real life. So while the lamp itself does not have a rechargable battery you can hook it to any power bank.

I love that this lamp is adjustable for the height and for the colors too. This lamp is great. The head is movable and what I really needed down here in my basement apartment. I just cannot stand to be in the dark all of the time. And this lamp is perfect. They let in just the right amount of light, and they look really pretty too. I recommend.

This was a Christmas gift. I can’t return it now because I ordered it in October. The light turns on but the fan won’t turn on.

I moved in with my daughter for a short time. The room I'm in doesn't have a ceiling fan or a nightstand light. This is a perfect substitute for both. The fan is a little noisy but not so bad that I can't sleep. I'm able to turn off the ceiling light and get into bed using this light and then turn it off using the remote control. I can also increase the fan speed or turn it off without getting out of bed. All in all a great purchase. And once I move into my new home it will be great in a guest room for a fan and light!

This is an awesome little light for setting up in an office area. Gives some adjustable overhead lighting with the added bonus of an overhead fan to help circulate air. Works great.
