About this item

  • SAVE WATER BIG TIME! Installing rain barrels to collect rainwater is a great idea in terms of both showing environmental consciousness and saving up to 40 % on water bills. Placed under downspouts, portable rain barrels will accumulate water without your participation and store it until the next time you’re going to water your garden. Don’t let precious water be wasted, and use this rain barrel to take better care of your garden, like sticking to a regular watering schedule.
  • LIGHT AND PORTABLE RAIN BARREL. This collapsible water barrel is much more convenient to handle and transport than an ordinary barrel. Assembling the rain water catching system is easy and takes just 5 minutes: the frame of this 53-gallon water storage barrel is made of 8 rods (as opposed to the normal 6; for extra stability) that go inside special sleeves around it. Detailed step-by-step assembly instructions with illustrations are included in this rain barrel kit.
  • WELL THOUGHT-OUT FOR EXPERIENCED GARDENERS. Check out the features of this 53-gallon water tank: the ultra-dense and wide mesh on top of the rain water barrel / collector will keep leaves and insects out; an additional faucet allows filling buckets from it; the overflow pipe will prevent the rain collection barrel from overfilling; and the filtered anti-clogging spigot at the bottom of the water collection system can be directly connected to a hose.
  • LEAKAGE RULED OUT, AND DURABILITY GUARANTEED. Talking about rain barrels 53gal (~ 200 l) is enough for a normal-sized garden, and we made this water catcher particularly strong: the heavy-duty 500D fabric with a 0.55 mm UV-inhibited PVC coating will reliably hold its intended capacity and survive at temperatures from -5° F to 160° F. There’s a two-year warranty on this rain catcher barrel: although lightweight, it’s a fully functional and durable rain collection system.
  • MAKES A GREAT GIFT. A portable rainwater barrel (and especially a collapsible and easily manageable rain collector like this one) is one of the handiest and most considerate things you can give to a person who runs a garden. Watering is vital, you can make it a bit easier and less wasteful for your loved ones with something as simple as a rainwater catcher, that’s the way to go. Help gardening aficionados among your friends get the most out of rainwater, and rest assured that they’ll appreciate.

Product Description

Collapsible Rain Barrel

A rain barrel is an attribute of a practical gardener: put a water storage tank underneath the downspout, and it will collect rainwater that you can later water your garden with. A rainwater collector prevents wasting perfectly good water and allows you to save up to 40% on water bills. The new version now comes with an additional spigot to fill buckets and a set of patches for wearing-out accidents.

Collapsible Rain Barrel

Eight rods (a standard collapsible rain barrel only has six) that make up the frame of this 53-gallon barrel provide extra stability.

Collapsible Rain Barrel |53-Gal EDITED

The spigot at the bottom of the rainwater barrel connects directly to the hose, and an additional faucet can be used to fill buckets directly from it.

Collapsible Rain Barrel

The rain barrel’soverflow pipe has a filter on the inside (and so does the spigot), and it will let any excess water out in case it rains heavily.

Collapsible Rain Barrel

The ultra-dense, wide mesh on the zippered lid of the water barrel will keep the water inside clean by stopping debris and insects like mosquitoes.

Collapsible Rain Barrel |100-Gal

This is a durable rainwater collection system unlike simpler rain barrels to collect rainwater, this one is made of heavy-duty 500D fabric featuring a 0.55 mm PVC coating that is UV-inhibited, so it’s resistant to cold, heat, and sunlight. The supports ensure stability, and the rubber rings for the spigot and the overflow pipe prevent leakage.

Use collected rainwater to wash your car and thus save on professional services without getting overwhelming water bills afterward.

Collapsible Rain Barrel

This 53-gallon water barrel will be greatly appreciated by anyone who has a lawn to sustain and looks for more practical ways to do it.

It does a good job with collecting and holding the water. unfortunately after having it for one year, mosquitoes did find their way into the barrel and caused havoc.

Easy to assemble, collects water without debris or mosquitos getting in. Not necessary to have under a downspout to collect rain water. Easy to disassemble for storage.Consider the 100 gal. option to hold more water.

Will not stand up. Keeps closing in on itself. Wish I had sent it back.

I liked that the instructions were very helpful. The only thing I don’t like is that the hose doesn’t stay on well, and there isn’t enough pressure for any water to come out of the hose. There were no instructions on that part. It just said attach hose. I am pretty sure I did it the only way it could be done, but wish it worked.

Water leaks near the taps, and to turn on the water you need to turn it in the opposite direction. The quality leaves much to be desired, not reliable!

So far so good. These are easy to put together, seems durable, time will tell. We live in Southcentral Texas and are in the middle of an exceptional drought. Can't wait for it to rain to see how these perform. Will update review when it does.

Got this to help collect rain water that falls from one side of my house. It’s easy set up and once your done you find a spot.Top is a zipper with a strainer on top to prevent bugs or leafs from going inside. Has two spots where you have access to water easily and has an over leak prevention that pours out automatically. You can attach a hose as well. It’s been up for a couple months now and had been stable through the summer and crazy rain/wind storms.Waiting to see how winter goes
