This was not what I expected. I realize that it's for a child, but the belt won't even stay up. The guns are fine, but the badge isn't any larger than about a quarter and it's very dinky. It has a click that could be lost very easily.

Holding up longer than I thought it would for a light plastic toy. Kid already lost the badge. It is small, good size for a toddler. Belt doesn't work very well, like most of the other reviews says "it's a ribbon." I just replaced it with an adjustable strap as the belt, which works fine for holding the holsters. As for the gun, it makes a click noise when the trigger is pulled and the hammer cocks and slam back to place. Over all it's a cheap toy but I paid a cheap price for it. And it keeps the kid happy.

Might be the best toy I've bought all year. My twin girls (age 4) love it. The guns make a little "pop" sound when you pull the trigger. Nothing shoots out of the guns, which means no lost items behind couches, etc. But they seem to enjoy the sound of the gun when they pull the trigger, so they don't complain that it doesn't shoot anything out of it. (They have the Nerf toys, too, where they can shoot little soft discs out of the guns.) We let them aim and shoot at pretend targets, as if at target practice. While many might object to giving kids guns (which I completely understand), especially guns that appear real-looking, like these, we are working toward lessons in gun safety, and an ability to recognize the difference between a toy and the real thing. The bottom line message: if you (as a child) see anything resembling a gun (even something toy-looking), stay away from it and go get an adult. But we adults all know that kids love to get into the cookie jar. So we are hoping that gun safety lessons along the way will reduce the chances that they'll pick something up and aim it at another person. God forbid they ever come across the real thing, stored carelessly at someone's house in the wrong place. But we're doing our best to prepare them for the worst. If you can imagine it, it can happen.

I Just received this item. I have to say I am very disappointed. I had read all the reviews so I felt like this should be a decent product but it is very small and cheap!! The picture makes it look bigger than it is. I will be sending this back. There is no way it is worth the price they are asking. This is something I would expect to buy at the dollar store. I would be embarrassed to give this to my nephew.

really smaller than I expected. The guns are so cheaply made that i don't dare let my son play with them before halloween. They are part of his costume. I'm afraid they will only last one use since they are so cheaply made. If he gets more than one use out of them I will be surprised. They are also a lot smaller than I was expecting. But for the price. it's ok.

Belt is made from what I call "reusable grocery bag" material. Pretty flimsy but hasn't gave out yet. My son LOVES these and at this price you can't go wrong. They are for his Halloween costume but he plays with them every day. Seem to be coming apart but nothing glue won't fix. Makes "click" when he "shoots" them and the bullets are for show. I'm happy with these and would buy them again ;)

it's very small-very. the belt, of course, is just a strip of plastic. the guns are that flat-silver plastic that is extremely lightweight. the picture looks a whole lot better than the reality. I think my main objection is the price-it's about four dollars too high.-------updated after Christmas: My original description stands, but I had to give it more stars. My grandsons absolutely love these guns. They're young, 3 and 4, so the guns are the perfect size. The belt is worthless, the star got lost, but they run around madly clicking the triggers and enjoying the crap out of these cheap guns. So for a small child, spend the five bucks. Just realize in advance, children over 5 probably won't like them.

Thought my son would like cowboy guns like when I was a kid, not impressed with the product. The guns are really cheap plastic, the badge is cheap, and the "holster and belt" are a waste of time to cheap to even bother with. I know they are just toys but why sell junk?
