Oh man is this thing ever amazing!I can't even begin to explain how useful this is!I wish I had it years ago, but everything happens for a reason I guess because I've been having issues with my hands lately (no strength, numbness) and I need this now more than ever!The machine arrived very quick, neatly packaged and well protected. This comes already assembled, but they do include several spare parts, like cutting blades and extra rollers. All you need to do is connect the plug, insert the tape/ribbon and you are ready to go. The included instruction booklet is easy to follow/understand.The machine itself is very well constructed. This is not some flimsy, cheep thing that is going to be useless trash in 6 months- nope. This is built to last a very long time. It is studry and has some nice weight to it (it doesn't wobble or move at all, even when it's loaded with a LARGE roll of very sticky tape!) and it doesn't feel like some cheep kids toy. Even when the stand (that props the dispenser up at an angle) is out, this doesn't wobble at all!I'm really impressed with how they made this too, with so many of the 'features' built right into the unit itself. Tweezers, oil, extra fuzes and a tape separator all have a space/compartment that's built right in so they are always handy. I absolutely love this because I can keep everything together and it's always handy (not lost or sitting at the bottom of the junk drawer). The design is incredibly thoughtful and intuitive.I am not a tech person and at first I was a little intimidated at the different settings for this machine. Sure, I could load in a roll(s) of tape or ribbon fine and get it to come out easy, but I didn't think setting the length would be easy at all, but I was (thankfully) wrong. I followed the instructions and set it the very first time I tried (now, I don't even need to look back at the book because it's really simple). I can't even begin to explain how awesome and amazing it is to cut the same length of ribbon, over and over again, without needing a ruler and scissors. Honestly, this had helped me out SO MUCH that I literally could cry because I'm so greatful! It's just so easy to use, all around.I definitely had my doubts about this in the beginning. I didn't think it would cut ribbon clean- but it does. I definitely didn't think it could handle really sticky, thick packing tape- but it does, very well and without getting stuck, leaving residue behind or taking any stickiness sway from the tape! I also was suspicious about how it would handle two rolls at once, but it's crazy how well it does!It's also very easy to swap out rolls of tape or ribbon.I use this non stop!At first, I kept the box handy because I figured I would use it then store it, but I tossed the box a while ago when this became a permanent fixture on my desk. I love being able to just push a button and get a perfect piece of tape. I'm already in love, but come holiday time with all the wrapping and shipping, ribbons and bows, this is going to be **Chef's Kiss**.I had a looksie around Amazon and other retailers to see what these usually go for and I was pretty shocked to see that very similar units sell for upwards of $100. Look- I hate to admit this but this is DEFINITELY worth $100, easy. But the fact that this sells for less that is mind blowing! At the time of this review, you can pick this up for $70! ($90 original price plus $20 off coupon). That's a total steal!I rely heavily on reviews myself before spending my hard earned money, so I always hope that my reviews help others too. I realize that I'm a little excited about this unit (for good reason though), but I'm being completely, 100% honest. I don't owe this company anything and I'm not an influencer that's trying to sell you something to make money off of you. This is really just THAT GOOD and I'm incredibly greatful that I found it.Ok...here it is...This is EASILY in the TOP 5 BEST AMAZON PURCHASES of 2024 for me and I'm pretty confident in saying it's in the TOP 10 of all time.Yep...it's that good!

I make eternal flowers, this machine helps with time efficiency and accuracy of the cuts. Very easy to use. Wish I understand what all the funtions were for. But a quick YouTube video and I was up and running in 3 minutes.

After FINALLY getting the machine to work, I love it! I think my problem was because I am trying to use it with wide adhesive tape. It just didn’t want to go through the tape feed roller. I finally got a strip of ribbon (it was only about 1/2” wide), placed it in the center of the beginning of the adhesive tape with a bit of lead tape about 2” long) and inserted the lead tape into the tape feed roller. Then the machine effortlessly pick it up and I was able to get the tape through and begin using the machine. It works very well. I thought the adhesive would make it get stuck, but so far that has not happened. I am using it manually and I can get very short strips (because I am using it to wrap gifts) or longer strips when necessary. I initially ordered this machine because I wanted to make ribbon leis. I remember doing one years ago that looked like an orchid lei, but each petal required a particular length of ribbon. I thought this machine would make that lei go much, much faster! Now that I have the machine I am having difficulty finding the instructions for that lei. However, since this machine handles both ribbon and thankfully adhesive tape, I am not sorry I ordered this machine. It may take up more space than a roll of scotch tape, but it is very, very handy to have!

I ordered this "machine" without much forethought, simply intrigued by its mysterious listing. I had simply searched for "machine", saw this one, and decided to give it a go. When the package arrived, I was quite surprised to discover it was a ribbon-cutting machine. While it’s a specialized tool, I must admit, I didn’t anticipate such a specific purchase.Perhaps it’s a sign that I should be more mindful of my online shopping habits.The device is easy to use and has good repeatability. If you need such a thing. I rarely use ribbon and when I do, it's an arbitrary amount. Same thing goes with tape, be it masking tape, duct tape, packing tape, whatever. I don't really need to use a machine to cut ribbon or tape for me. However, I could see it's usefulness in certain situations, for example, a lady's quilting room where she needs umpteen number of whatever's cut to the same length or perhaps a warehouse where the workers are so distracted and uninvolved in their own work that they can't be bothered to use the appropriate amount of tape to seal a package. Or maybe it's something more nefarious and the machine is from the middle management and they are implementing them company wide in an effort to save money. Those pennies saved by limiting tape to 3.75 inches instead of 4 inches really adds up!If any of these people or situations describes you or yours (including mine), certainly order this ribbon cutting machine. It is the upgraded version after all!
