For a recent embroidery class, I specifically needed this size needles. These were the perfect size, but I only had 2. Now I am ordering more to have for finishing my work. Things always arrive in a timely manner from Amazon. I will have enough needles to finish my embroidery piece.

I've only used one. It is still sharp and in good condition. This packet should last quite a while. Glides well through the fabric.

I guess I expected the Crewel embroidery needles to be larger than regular embroidery needles. One of my embroidery projects noted that I would need a #6 crewel embroidery needle, which looked and worked no different from what I already had.
