I'm just getting back into mountain biking after a 20+ year hiatus... holy cow have things changed! One of those changes is a move to tubeless wheels for any 'serious' riding, and it makes a world of difference by letting me run much lower pressures without the worry of pinch-flats.I purchased a new mid-range bike during late summer, but it came equipped with tubes. Wanting the benefits of tubeless, I decided to undertake the conversion myself rather than rely on the bike shop. I think it's important to build the skills necessary to maintain my own stuff, and there's not much better way to do that than jumping in and figuring it all out. Fortunately, the tires and rim profile were already tubeless-ready, so it was a simple matter of taping the rims, installing tubeless valve stems (this product) and sealant. The stems fit nicely inside my rim, providing a good seal internally. I did find that the curved external plastic block that comes with these valve stems didn't fit the curvature of my rim, so I left it off the installation... but the o-ring and knurled nut locked things down nicely. Thanks to the internal design, the inside of the stem has not clogged up with sealant in the 3 months I've been using themAside from the plastic block that didn't fit, my only real knock on these is the silly name/logo that's plastered across the locking nut and on the valve cap. I prefer things with a much more subtle look, but it's enough for me to knock off one star from my overall evaluation.

I got these to keep in my cycling chest as spares for when I travel for races. These are a simple, common thing on bikes, but finding them at 9:00 at night, the day before a race, is near impossible. These are a really nice version of the tubeless valve. Full aluminum construction with a nice black anodized coating. The base uses cone seals which seal well against tubeless tape. The nuts included fit well onto the stems and tighten down fully. I do wish they were a little less "branded" though I hid that with a sharpie. If you do a lot of work on tubeless wheels, or if you're building up a new set of wheels, you'll need these. These RideNow stems are a good length, are well made and do the job well. No leaks and not heavy.

Valves have two jobs, either hold air in, or let air out. These perform their task brilliantly.I like the design of the bottom opening side of these. It’s a good design in that it doesn’t clog with sealant easily. These were easy to install, air tight and they have a nice anodized black finish.Really nice set of valves at a good price.

I replaced an old clogged stem with these. They work like they are supposed to, no leaks.

I needed to replace my tubeless valves since they were acting up. One wasnt holding air very well and the other was gummed up and difficult to fill. These new ones got me back on track and I can ditch my tubes again. So far they are holding well and easy to fill with.

These offer a combination of utilitarian function and attractive aesthetics. I've not encountered many stems that have rubber gaskets on the outside where the nut keeps the stem secure, and it's a simple but great thing to have since it stops you from pushing the stem in while giving you feedback to prevent you from overtightening the stem. They also look impressive - the dark metal of the stem compliments the matte black color of my own rims.

I'm not sure how the curved plastic washer will fit on most bikes, it's too curved for my rims. I assumed it was rubber but it's actually plastic. Luckily the threaded nut has an o-ring on it and will seal like a normal valve stem. (Since it's on the outside of the rim it doesn't really matter anyways)Pretty cool that they include that curved washer though, I'm sure there are certain rims that require it for a good fit. Other valve stems I've bought in the past didn't include those.
