My 20 year old Rion greenhouse had a failing roof vent. This sun room vent fits and will provide me with many options in panels and placement. Thank you!

For myself I was disappointed with the quality of this product, hinges are a joke. I was going to put it on a greenhouse but looking at it there was no effort to keep the heat in , metal to metal sealing, holes in parts of it leading outside. Need something that vents heat when I need it to not when I want to keep the heat in.

This came as part of a Sun Room that I ordered from RION/Palram. While I am reasonably satisfied with the rest of the Sun Room, this one feature is a Spoiler and a Deal Killer. It only takes a moderate gust of wind to take this thing apart as the Vent blows into the next County, incidences of which I experienced twice within a 3 month period.The reason for this Vent's failure is that the point of contact between the Vent Frame and the Vent Window, which is supposed to dovetail into a secure hinge, fails. This critical juncture is held together solely by gravity alone. It is a hinge in name only. Token force, such as that of a 10 mph gust of wind, is enough to dismantle it.I hope that RION/Palram cleans up their act and redesigns this Engineering Disaster, albeit not on the scale of The Titanic or the Edsel, it is still an embarrasment.
