The guide fit my saw perfectly which abled me to made straight cuts. I should have purchased this year's ago instead of making my cuts freehand. Great item that saves me time and no mistakes or sloppy cuts.

The screw that came with the guide was to small for my skilsaw. So I had to find a screw that would fit on my saw so that I could sit the guide. But other than that everything was okay

There were several fences available on line however, the Skil fence is the only one that I found that fit my Skil circular saw.

If you need a rip fence for your Skil 8-1/4 inch worm drive saw, this isn't it!The item you need is a Bosch 13896 rip fence, which is also about 10 dollarscheaper. I also liked the fact that the return label address for the wrong oneis in The Ukraine!! Return shipping would be more than I paid for the wrong rip fence.You all smoked me on that one.

Worked great! And made me realize that the saw should have included this in the first place. :) Makes rip cuts much easier for cases where you already have a flat edge.

This product seemed as if it should fit my saw but,did not slide in smoothly. Was oversized. Not happy. Skil Saw product does not fit a Skil saw.

Its is what it is: a gadget that allows exact cuts from .5 inch to about 12 inch following another edge. Simple and useful as that if used on an electric skill saw.

Needed to rip some 2 x 4's down the middle so I bought this, put it on my Skill saw and got the job done. It holds true and the measuring gauge is pretty close to spot on. Easy to install and tighten down. Glad I bought it.

The bigger bar/stem of a generic fence wouldn't fit the slots in my saw's shoe - this one did (as expected). It may be a little short on the guide face so it's not a precision fence by any means, but it works okay, especially for a circular saw.
