This will ONLY adapt 1 1/8" to 1 1/4". If you wanted to make it fit a 1" steerer or handlebar, you'd have to cut it to allow it to compress further. I needed to adapt a 1" steerer to standard 1 1/8", but could not do it with this. Also note the height. With spacers on most steerers AND the stem, this is likely not long enough to correctly adapt both.
