These shelves went together easily and work perfectly.I used both in the lip up configuration, one for a small switch and the other to hold a few loose cables. The included hardware worked great and the finish of the entire assembly looks sleek.

Arrived as expected. Good description. Metal slightly thinner than I hoped but great for the price.

These are nice rack shelves. They hold up a lot of weight without flinching. They look nice, and they have venting so there's air flow through them.Like most, they come with some cage nuts. What sets them apart a little from others is that you can mount the ears either with the lips facing up or down. Depending on your needs, this configurability could be helpful. It hasn't made a difference to me so far, but I could see how it might, especially since you can conceivably install deeper devices with the lips down. The downside of this configurability is that it's a tad more work assembling them. Not much though, it's still a pretty quick operation.

These are a nice affordable solution to mount things that were not originally meant for rack mounting. I used these to move my Unifi Cloud Key Ultra and cable modem from on top of my rack to into it. The vent holes allow the hot air to flow up and out of the rack and also provide a nice tie down area to zip tie any cables that don't want to sit nicely in their new home.

This comes with 2 shelves and has good finish, doesnt feel like the powder coating might scratch and come off.The shelves have a quarter inch lip on both front and back, and would be ideal for smaller devices.Comes with rack ears and rack hardware.5/5

I bought a different brand of universal rack shelf, and it caused me nothing but heartache and bad feelings. All I wanted to do was rack mount two 1/3 space rack effects. Should be easy, right? When this set of two popped up, I ordered them. What did I have to lose?I initially bought the terrible one because I thought it looked nicer. It was a solid piece of metal, or so I thought. I didn't need any venting, and I assumed less metal equaled less solid. That being said, I wouldn't doubt this set would survive being run over by a car, while the other seemed to bend if you just looked at it. This is a solid piece of metal, as opposed to aluminum. Now on to the actual rack ears. I was weary, since I've taken chances on the server racks, instead of buying the one marketed to musicians at music shops. Most have rinky-dink screws and nuts, and never quite go together correctly. Not this one! Solid metal ears, that run the entire length of the rack, attached with machine screws and nuts on the front and back (both sides!!!), and the heads don't strip when you tighten them down with every thing you got.A nice touch is the fact that you can mount the rack either way, so your gear is sitting in the rack, with the front/back lip protecting it, or turn it upside down, if the lip would get in the way of any knobs or jacks. It might seem like I am laying the praise on a little too thick, but I'm probably not going far enough. After the emotional rollercoaster I just got off of with the last rack, It feels good to know that someone cares enough about our time and investment to build a quality product to house it in. The setup was very simple with 2 bolts and nuts. Its functionality has helped with organisation and having a good fit. The build quality reflects its durability on holding multiple items without sagging. It looks the same as every other shelf just a little more custom.

Packaging wasn't fantastic. From the box everything was banging around in there with very little protection. Does come with cage nuts and bolts to put everything together.Multiple areas have bare metal exposed and the corners have wrinkled paint or powder coat unevenly stuck in there. They give you screws and nuts to put it together but just enough, No spares. I dropped one and had to get one from the store.Overall they seem robust and will do the job but quality is about average.
