I've done a lot of shopping around and own multiple stands. This Rivers Edge Retreat seems to be the perfect size and a good fit for me at 6'2" 225#. It's big enough to be very comfortable while also being small enough to get into smaller trees and tighter situations. The platform also offers ample room especially with the fold-out footrest which is a must with my size 14" feet. The stand also seems to be quieter and less "rattly" than my other stands which all seem to creek or rattle at least a little when climbing or shifting around in them. The stand is a pretty good height although, nothing compares to getting in my climber or saddle and getting up 20+ feet. The seat is really comfortable and folds-up perfectly out of the way and, even allows me to lean back on it a little while standing. The stand assembled pretty easily and very solidly compared to the multitude of stands I have put together over the years. I'm really pleased with this stand so intend to buy another 1 or 2 to replace others I don't like nearly as much.
